I have already forgiven you for saying you won't get a vaccine, then getting the very first appointment you could well before Illinois opened up vaccines to all adults.

Whether you can forgive yourself or not is another issue.

Can you forgive yourself for line-jumping and killing all those old people that REALLY needed the vaccine?

No, he came from a very religious family, and thought he was going to go to a bible college if he had not been found by the Rays.

This is why I don't go to church. This can't happen at Costco.

He was actually an Astros farmhand and they gifted him away to Tampa.

I wouldn't call it "gifted" he was traded for Aubrey Huff who despite being a weirdo had some productive seasons from 2000-2004.

Yes, I forgot about that part.

His trip to the majors is a nice story. Pretty sure his dad was/is a minister/pastor down in Eureka still.

He was a rental for Houston and hit 13 HRs with an .813 OPS in 60 some games. Not great, but "productive"

In 2003 and 2004 he had a combined 63 homeruns and 7.6 WAR. I'd say that's productive you fucking moron.

Was he on the Astros for either of the 2003 and/or 2004 seasons?

This is a yes or no question.

  I am not going to make a statement at this time, but here is my statement. I dont want sympathy points, but please look at me and give me sympathy!

Quote:
Some of you have been wondering whether I will make a public statement about my divorce. I know this is true because many of you have sent me encouraging notes and DMs recently. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your kindness.

There have been many ugly accusations made about me publicly in recent days. And this has created an expectation that I should respond by defending myself—and maybe even offering a few ugly accusations in return. Isn’t that how these kinds of things always play out?

I have many roles that I am extremely proud to fill—I am a teacher and a learner, a speaker and a listener, a leader and a friend to many. But, the most important role to me is—mother. Those of you who are parents will understand how heavy this responsibility is. Nothing is more important to me than my three children. I have always tried to love them in such a way that they will be able to recognize true and healthy love for the remainder of their lives.

I am choosing to protect my children’s hearts by not saying hurtful things about their father in public. My attention is focused on caring for them during this difficult time, and I refuse to divert my energy to slinging mud and publicly reveal personal details of my previous relationship in order to score sympathy points.

It’s tempting to retaliate or seek revenge when someone decides to hurt, slander, or lie about you. Especially in public. It’s difficult to remember that those who harm us are acting out of their own pain. Wounded people need healing, and that’s what I pray finds every person who is so lost in their pain that they resort to inflicting harm on others.

My reconfigured family—a resilient mother and her three remarkably brave children—are building something healthy, safe and beautiful where shame does not abide.

A time will come when I will address my journey, independently of my children. But this is not that time. For now, I appreciate your ongoing kindness and respect for our privacy.

By Love we go,
Julianna

Feel bad for Zobrist who seems to be a country goober who got taken in by a gold digger.

See the same crap all the time with these crackpot young pastors, on local TV all the time, young dudes that want to talk to you about Jesus with rolled up sleeves, frosted hair, and skinny jeans, always have the young hot wife making doe eyes at them.

Find the Pastor career path very similar to the educational administration path, start out in a small church/school and slowly climb the ladder until your making pretty good money.

The nerve of this broad...in addition to half of the marital assets, she is now asking for $4m of the $8m he forfeited from his contract while on leave (as he was trying to figure out how she and their pastor destroyed his life).

Quote:
Ben Zobrist’s estranged wife, Julianna Zobrist, says the former Chicago Cubs utility man was “guilty of failing to preserve marital assets” when he took a leave of absence from the team in May 2019, so she will ask a judge to award her an additional $4 million when those assets are divided during next month’s divorce trial, according to pretrial documents obtained by the Chicago Tribune.

“In 2019, he had a contract with the Chicago Cubs for ($12 million), but since he only played for 2 months, his salary was prorated and he only earned ($4.5 million) of the ($12 million) he could have earned,” according to the memorandum filed July 14 in Williamson County, Tenn., by Julianna Zobrist’s attorney, Marlene Eskind Moses of Nashville, Tenn.-based MTR Family Law.

The brief contends that Ben Zobrist “intentionally and voluntarily stopped working” and “essentially went from the top of his game to basically giving up, which caused a massive loss in income.”
