"Conversationally" is used almost exclusively by people who are A1 or maybe charitably A2 speakers. Just like B1 speakers like to use "fluent" to describe their own skills. Language is a field people love to overestimate their own skills because Babel or Duolingo has them tricked into thinking they know more than they actually do.

She can probably instigate a conversation in a retail or restaurant setting but not receive communication. An actual conversation though? If she could do that in a foreign language trust me you would know by now.
