They've kind of screwed up pork in my opinion with the attempt to lean it out. Luckily they are beginning to add a bit more fat into them according to my hog growing neighbor. You get a slower grown, outdoor raised Berkshire or a heritage, fattier breed vs the hybrid confinement hog and the chops and shoulders are loads better. i un-burried their waterer this past weekend. half burried in the corner were they shit.

This year we have IPP red waddle/Berkshire cross's.
