Mercifully today's game was rained out. I would hope at least three guys are traded before their next game in Arizona.

By including Javy positively, it sure sounded like Contreras was hinting that Ross or Hoyer had a double standard for the players born in the lower 48.

Might as well start the organizational reset ASAP. Watching a team full of overpaid unmotivated stars play months of garbage time baseball is painful, better to ignore the rest of the season for the big league team, but have hope watching the young guys you got in trades develop at the minor league level.

Can almost hear them hyping the next Corey Patterson all day on WSCR right now.
