I don't think it matters what the source of one's distrust is. Black people having reason to distrust the government's pushing of vaccines is no more (or less) valid than someone questioning the motives and/or capabilities of the pharmaceutical industry. To say one group is villainous but the other is exempt from criticism is wrong.

Currently changing family vacation plans because not high enough vaccination levels in the planned region and 2 people I know who were vax’d got it when they traveled in the past few weeks.

Hit them hard for a few days. I’m not in a health position to risk it.

Everyone currently dying from it didn’t get the shot. But now we keep giving the virus opportunities to mutate for no reason. More people die from not taking it than taking it by far.

But, in a literal reading, I agree symptoms are reduced by getting it (seems documented). Fewer people die (documented). Less people get it to begin with (documented). It reduces the potential for mutation (in theory but seems reasonable).
