Yeah I think so. And he's hilariously low on Fields, I believe he has Kellen Mond above him, so who knows. I generally ignore him.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mond is the best QB in this class when it's all said n done. I'd still stake Trey Lance over any of them though.

He might be talking with Rodgers, but I don't think he's understanding what Rodgers is saying. It's either that or Rodgers has told him to spin things much differently than all of his other buddies and media contacts.

I'd say Rogers fed him a line of shit and he swallowed it. It's absolutely about the GM.

Of course it is and everyone knows it because Rodgers has made no secret of this fact.

If Jones is communicating regularly with Rodgers, Rodgers is either using him or Jones is an idiot. Based on Jones' on-air commentaries, I feel pretty confident about going with the latter option.

Sure seems like it. If this post was 12 months ago this wouldn’t even be a question. Considering the draft capital of each and the pre draft consensus ranks, I think it’s unarguable he nailed it.

But again I don’t think this is enough of a sample size to label him as some type of QB analyst guru and I think he mostly does this for attention and sometimes is right.

Josh Allen is better than Lamar Jackson. So let's not act like 2018 was some banner year of analysis.

He might be. If they both play like they did last year your statement is inarguable. If you take the totality of their careers Lamar is better. If Hollywood Brown and Diggs switched teams in preseason last year I think it’s very likely this isn’t a debate, as it was not a debate last summer, and Lamar is clearly superior. There’s still a lot of career left for both to decide. And again, having both above Baker and Darnold is actually impressive.

But it’s such a small sample size and his rankings this year are so absurd I’m tempted to think he’s just throwing shit against the wall and 2018 stuck. I don’t think he is any better an analyst than any talking head out there looking for attention.

I watched Lamar Jackson several times in college. Guy reminded me of Tim Tebow. I still don't think he is accurate enough or a good enough quarterback to win in the playoffs. Baltimore was smart enough to build an offense around his talents at least instead of forcing him to be a traditional drop back passer.

I mean, he won MVP and put together one of the most ridiculous QB seasons ever, leading one of the most efficient offenses for a single season in history, while leading the league in TD passes with a weak WR core. But sure, he’s Tim Tebow with a better coaching staff. That seems like a reasonable take lol

He's a great running back. It's like saying Mark Rypien is an all-time great. He had one of the most ridiculous QB seasons ever.

Your post was Wannstedtian in form and substance. It is self-defeating in nature and requires no substantive retort, only ridicule.

That’s a bizarre response to a post saying he got it right one year but is mostly an idiot. Self defeating? You’re losing your fastball old man.

I don't want to make the thread about Lamar Jackson, but saying Chris Simms ranked him first in 2018 is some pretty shoddy evidence that Love will be anything.

Wannstedt: "Take away those three big plays Favre made and we win the game."

Favre Fan: "Take away last year and there's no question Jackson is better than Allen."

This isn't even getting into the absurd rationalization of considering draft position when that had no bearing on Simms' rankings.

You're so far gone you don't even know what you don't know.

Of course it's not evidence that Love will be good. That's very much up in the air. I included Simms ranking in response to Bob saying Love was a 3rd rounder with a weak arm. I hope we can at least agree that Simms has more insight into a QB's skills than Bob.

I don't think Rogers is complicated, he wants out so you should have traded him. You drafted his replacement so you should be confident in your move.

He isn't that complicated if you understand that he ruins every close relationship he has ever had and uses his star power to try to make it appear that it is the other party's fault. He's a narcissist.
