I dont think it could have been any more pathetic.

1. He made sure everyone knew that Rich M. gave him more to do this then others might get. (Pretty sure thats a lie)

2. Jen sounded like she was looking for a drink.

3. Because of Mike and doing this, radio people will need to thank him for opening this up for them.

4. Mike didnt like being negative while at the score.

5. Chatboards guys was mentioned in the first 5 minutes of the show, but he still doesnt read them. I love that.

6.Gale Sayers and Hawk Harreslon are his guests, same as his last podcast.

7. Has a lot of sponsers, but nothing is a done deal yet.

8. Mike is convinced this is the first time anyone has done this type of show.

9. Mike has not listened to the score since he left, which is a lie.

10. Rating system is still flawed.

11. He was screwed, his bosses didnt understand him.

12. There is a rumor that the score hosts were told not to mention his name, mike said "you cant run away from history". That guy is living in a world that I cannot even begin to understand.

13. At 14.39 of the webio show, he has now mentioned "money" 8 times.

14. Every time someone turns on mully and hanley, they wonder "where is mike".

15. Heard Jason Goff mentioned pappys name on the air, says jason is going to be a star in the biz....agreed, hell just froze over.

16. The law office of david spada has a commercial running on the show.

17. SHOCKER!!!!! dontfademe.com has a ad running on the show.

18. Gale Sayers on, mike goes right into Hesters miscue last night and says "yous never see a gale sayers do tat. Ass kissing continues.

19. Gale ends segment by telling mike that its "good hearing you back on the radio". Mike doesnt say a word.

20. At 31.31 Mike takes first call from John, tries to ask a bear question, mike misses the callers point, mike has him off the air in 12 seconds and rants for another 5 minutes.

21.Pleads to the Mike North listeners to get the word out about his show, almost begging. Sorta sad.

22. Mike states that the two weeks that followed him leaving the score, Northtonorth.com had almost 260,000 hits.

23.The web is the future because Dan Mason said so and he is going to help shape the future of this thing the call the web.

24. Pappy states this web thing isnt about the money, its about helping his fellow radio pals.

25. He wants to pioneer this web thing. I swear this is true, he is saying it.

26. He ate at wildfire last night, comp.

27. Mike is stunned to find out that wildfires resteraunts are not only in Chicago.

28. Bragging about his time off and how many people can go to vegas for TWO WEEKS.

29. Full description on what he did in Vegas, Jen chimes in some meaningless babble.

30. Mike while in vegas, would wake up at 6:30, do some business till maybe 10:30am, then gamble the rest of the day. Wow, thats some work ethic. In bed by 10:30

31. Ok....while in vegas he say tropic thunder, said its ok to laugh at the vietnam way, goes back to his earlier comment that you cant run from history.

32. Jen asks mike if he is going to go see the new deniro / pacino movie. Mikes says "day cant find enough air dye for those two guys".Compelling thought.

33. Mike mentioned that he asked two people to come along with him on this venture, I think it was webby and fred, he didnt mention names, but thats my guess. He then states "they are missing out".

34. Jen loves Al Pacino and Mike isnt sure if he will go see the movie. He rather see them make a movie with those two on how they interact off camera....I think those are called outtakes genius.

35. Mike wonders if Pacino and Deniro talke to each other when the cameras are off. This isnt even halfway through the show, pass the hat folks, I cant go through this again.

36. Mike says his first podcast blew up the system, his guys arent computers still ,so thats why its important that his fans do the "word of mouth" thing. Mike also knows now how to turn on a computer. This is stuff we must know.

37. Mike says he still likes Boers,Laurence, murph and hanley. No mention of Bernsie and Mulligan....weird.

38. Mike reads a email thats says "how do I buy advertisment time on the show". I dont think that was a email and if was, spaceball sent it because he went on for a few minutes about it. Exciting stuff.

39. first hour of the show, all the hoopla about this being for the fans, 1 call, 2 emails. Well, thinking about it, who is listening? Who even knows? For the record, I am listening to the podcast

40. One more hour to go. :alien:

41. 1 hour and 10 minutes into the show, Mike finally mentions the bears game in detail and blasts Olen Kreutz for allowing a "colts player" to sack Kyle Orton.

42. Mike has minor meltdown because a spot starts to play, takes a shot at the score. He finds it funny and still is the only one laughing at his jokes.

43. According to mike, nate vasher had good game last night and will have a great year. Hope so, but nate had a shitty game last night, he said so. Again, Mike right on top of it.

44. Another wildfire story, its great, they are packed, but not packed, whatever that means. Mentions almost the whole fricken menu.

45. Plugs dontfademe.com, "gotta go guys, the bookie priest is on the front page" He really thinks people want this.

46. Mike comment on Marriotti leaving and how ebert called him out. Compares this to when he left the score and said he knows no one said anything. Well, directly I guess, but terry, dan, mully and Hanley took their shots, I heard them. Plus if he knows that didnt say anything, that means he must have been listening, which he said he hasnt..what?

47. Being the true professional, his cell phone goes off, he says "they must not know that I am on the air". What? I thought everyone knew or at least the people that would matter.

48. Going on how he has the inside scoop why marriotti left, he was pissed because of not having 5 star accomdations while in bejing, mike says you cant do that. COming from pappy who bitched and moaned about the same thing when the score sent him on the road, to funny.

49. Newspapers are not dying, he still buys his papers. So the web will over take radio, but not newspapers...allrighty then.

50. Jen screeching something I cant make out.

51. Chris russo will be on, brags how he and russo walked away from cbs radio, even though they were the ones featured on hbo little show.

52 Mentions there is a hiring freeze at the score so the Managment can get their bonuses. Let it go Mike.

53. Hawk is on, time for mike to kiss ass.

54. Mike and Jen confused what the term "arm" means during a david hockberg ad. Someone finally explains it.

55.Hawk was on for a long time, said nothing, mike kissed his ass, leave it at that.

56. 20 minutes to go in the show, still only 1 phone call and 2 emails. I sent a email, but I am pretty sure he wont read it.

57. Thomas Jones love for some reason.

58. Mike says it will take a week or two before the show hits a full stride.

59. Mike compares his show to the the invention of the airplane, no one belived they could get anything to fly.

60. Mike is still the asst. coach at NDHS. I think once it gets closer to BBALL season, there will be a "reason" why he cant do it.

61. Wasnt able to spend much time with "his kids" during the summer camps because he was out pounding the pavement, I assume he was busy also inventing the WORLD WIDE WEB.

62. Praising Bebe and Spaceball, dey are da greates, its a great day, exactly were they wanted to be.

63. Mike wasnt working because he chose not do.

64. Chatboards guys, he doesnt read them, but jen does. He is stressing the the 6 month non compete, denys he ever said he had things lined up, ripping feder, he is wrong, doesnt know anything. Mike is not happy about the chatboards...

65. Sorta ripping on mcneil, says mcneil decided to write a book when he found out that north was doing one.

66. tells mcneil to never look behind for him, because he is always a step and half ahead of him. WTF????? Mac has a job at ESPN and pappy is doing podcasts from some shit hole.

67. Plugs the award winning show that comes on after him, "talking illini".

68. rants on gene upshaw

thats about it, with the mcneil bashing and some other things he said, this is the start of the pappy meltdown.

HHJ, I did it because I am off today and for some other who might have wanted to know, its called being nice, doing a favor, trying to help out. What do they say in radio, "if you dont like it, turn the dial"? Well, if you dont want to read it, dont open the link.

Coming soon to a 25 seat folding chair 'theatre" in someone's garage ; Mike North is Norm Desmond in the long awaited male version of Sunset Boulevard.

Good recap Van. That is just pathetic. I'm not kidding one iota when I say that Mike North is mentally ill (alledgedly).

"His guys" don't know the internet...

But he has, ERR, was plugging northtonorth.com on his radio show for about a decade.

When can I get some Caucasian Man II: Electric Bugaboo?

What an embarrassment! Not only to the cloth, but to CBS radio.

Whats funny, you can tell he HATES the people on this message board and you know him and bebbe sit side by side and read every comment. It eats at him.

The Mcneil comments were surprising, I might not always agree with Mac, but I have always been a fan and thought he has been a professional in every aspect of the job he does and I think thats why he went after Mac a bit today, he doesnt understand how to be a professional and he is even more confused why his "act" isnt going over any longer.

To be fair, I think he would have taken more calls today, but I think no one called except for John and I dont know for sure, but it sounded like Mike knew this guy.

Started listening and this is so lame. It's basically the same show he did in July. He wants to 'move on' from the score, but he keeps talking about them every minute.

it is funny that he thinks he is doing some brand new by being on the net. That's how much out of it he is. When that guy called when North was on McNeil's show and asked why North never had comptemporary guys on, but guys from the 60s/70s, we now know why.

He was also bragging how the internet in 4 years will have 100million ppl on it. Huh? I think it probably had 100million people on it like 5 years ago.

I don't know how he is going to advertise this show. If it weren't for this message board, i wouldn't have even known about it. And how many of North's hardcore 'dem guys' actually know how to work a computer?

Another thing : they didnt take out the commercials on the webcast.

Thank you for your courage and dedication!! It seems the piece of shit still lies and truly believes he's a great entertainer. I'm waiting for a Fritzy appearance so they can make fun of jewish people, Melman will really love that!.

It sounds like the webcast is the same shitfest he put out on the radio. I think the ratings are flawed too, they said he had listeners which I find hard to believe.
Thanks again for giving up your time so no one else has to.

I heard from someone who said the hockberg and other commercials today were freebies or at the least, greatly reduced, but pretty sure they were free air time.

I hope HHJ doesnt think I was being a asshole....well, I am one, but I was just kidding around with that reply. I had nothing to do today, so it was fine, I didnt expect thanks for it, tomorrow though, I have to insert a screwdriver into my skull, so I will miss the show

Next time it rains when you have a day off, READ A BOOK. It will save your sanity.

Of the 68 points you made, I count 23 outright lies-#1,3,4,5,7,8,9,10,11,12,14,22,23,24,36,37,46,49,52,58,61,63,64.

My wife said the same thing when she asked me what I was typing. I suggested that we could "do" something, but that was quickly shot down since I am over my sex qouta for the month according to her, so pappy podcast it was.

I missed one, when he came on, he said bebe was sitting across from him with tears in her eyes, he said that what she does. I think its safe to assume that she just realized that the days of the big paycheck were over and sitting in the rat hole was just her valadation.

I thought the tears were because they were sitting in the kitchen where one of the sous chefs was slicing up a 25 pound bag of red onions.

I knew I should have done something on the internet before Mike North found out about it.

I guess I will let Mike pioneer the web frontier and then I will come in.

Who wants to be part of my Webshow?

I found it interesting how he said that the message board ppl are always negative. Well that's because your show sucks. We're negative to people who suck and call them out. Look at Mac's board, he has more positive messages there because one, he's not a ahole like mikey, and two, his show is actually good. If they had a message board back when North/Jiggs started, I can bet you the posts would all be positive. We will support good shows and good personalities, so he's off about this forum always being negative.

I have always said, people like Dahl, North and Murphy are always first to jump up and cry about people being negative towards them, but yet, they have a free pass to just tear people apart for as long as they want.

I've heard teenagers with a simple mixer do a more professional sounding podcast than that thing North and Jen did.

Another serenader,
And another long-haired band.
Today I am your champion.
I may have won your hearts.
But I know the game,
You will forget my name,
And I won't be here
In another year,
If I don't stay on the charts.

"Hey Front, dis dat song by Sinatra or Dino? No, den I don't want it assimilated with my show, ok?"

"Mike, the word is associate."

"I know dat my little sweet cheeks. We'll associate later."

Vann, let it go man... the fact that you pay ANY attention to a guy you don't care for means 'he won'.

I'm not telling you what to do, but given your animosity towards North in the past, I'd simply put him on your 'pay no mind list' and move on.

Beef, I am simply just paying attention for my own warped reason, there is truly no animosity towards him from me. Do I like the guy, no, does it have to do with wanting to sue me , no, its something more personal and I dont really want to share it here.

I go to his sites once a day, if I see something, I will post it, this is what the section is for and yesterday, once the podcast was done, I thought of a 1,000,000 things I could have done instead of wasting my time on that, but I was curious, had time, so I did it. Didnt listen today, dont plan on it, but as long as he is around, I find him curious case study
