The last out in spring training for the cubs was Strop striking out Van Meter.
viewtopic.php?f=32&t=123522&p=3625754&hilit=Strop#p3625754

Well guess what? Van Meter now seeks revenge for that.

Cubs vs Dbacks!
Finally, 3 straight 1:20 games.

Sick of this 6:15 Fox and espn horseshit.

And Kris Bryant is supposed to return to the lineup today

Be happy people post on this horse shit team. Rather watch Biden stumble through a speech then watch the Cubs.

Today once again proves my point.

Last time we came home from a Thursday night road game, we acted like puss's and moved a day game to a night game. What happened? We got smoked 2 games by a weaker team.

This time, we kept it a day game, and our offense busted out.

This team and these core players have played GREAT in day games all year as well as historically the last 5-6 years.

I dont want any of the bullshit theories that Madden brought in. If it's a day game, you PLAY the day game. Use it to your advantage. It's your home field. Our offense is often great in Wrigley day games.

Hard nosed, hustling journeyman infielder Sogard cut to make room for Duffy. Wife a big anti vaxxer contribute? Valuable guy to have on the bench. Heyward makes 210x more from the Cubs than he did this year.

Looks like about 500 fans waited out the 99 minute rain delay in the 9th. What great fans!

Against his old team, and with scouts from multiple teams in the stands. But he had been excellent for the last two months, so I guess he's bound to not have it one day.

It's sad that they have destroyed the guy's career.

We may not be seeing it now, but in the long haul this shortens his career.

What team moves their star all over the place like that? Increasin' the number of injuries and causing him so much MENTAL CONFUSION!!!

Another one of Maddon's bullshit moves!

They guy was a great-hitting 3B-man, he should be playing 3rd only!

There he was in the first inning again diving for a low line-drive in the outfield after coming back from injury.

Yes, the guy is a puss, but you dont make it worse by playing him all over. It is hard enough to excel at one position. PUT WISDOM IN LEFT AND GIVE HIM BACK HIS POSITION!!!

Also we must note Daulton Varsho, Gary's son is the AZ catcher.

Not watching today but she looked good last Sunday/Monday in Arizona and St. Louis, but they were only shooting her from the shoulders up. She had her hair back and better makeup and looked thinner.

Wisdom's 40% career strikeout rate is unbelievable.
'The Big Donkey" 28.6%
Javier Baez 29.3%

Cubs with three hits, all homers. If it ends this way, the Cubs would be the first team in history to do that in a regular season game. (There was an All Star game where that happened.)
