"North & Jiggetts reuniting

• • Look for Mike North and Dan Jiggetts to team up again.

Nothing is official yet, but a deal is in the works for North and Jiggetts to host a weekday morning TV show together on Comcast SportsNet, starting in January, sources said.

Known as "The Monsters of the Midday," the duo spent eight years together on CBS Radio sports/talk WSCR-AM (670).

North, who left the Score in June, debuted Monday as host of a daily Internet talk show on WildfireRestaurant.com. Jiggetts has been anchoring and hosting for Comcast SportsNet."

Wow. I thought Papi threw Jiggs under the bus the last go-around?......

That would suck, if true. Terrible way to start the day today and any day that show is on.

I'd rather see Gail Fischer for the 7th time of the same broadcast, thank you very much.

I think if it happens it will turn out like most of his tv gigs, 8-12 months and it will be over. I wonder if its a actual show or is it maybe 15 minute spots during the morning show? Either way, I dont care.

So let me get this right...after North did what he could to break up The Monsters, he is doing what he can to get them back together huh? The prodigal son returns? (for the Tall Midgets of the world... )

It's difficult to respect Jiggets when he continues to appear on shows with people who have openly mocked his abilities and who have attempted to destroy his career (both north and mc neil).

first off, I hate North but this could work. They were good for a while. Secondly, why does Jiggs put up with it? Cause Jiggs is a good guy. Spinnin' Bucket, your comments? (I know you're out there)

I agree with Spmack. Respect? Dignity? Jiggs doesn't give a shit that North has blasted him. Jiggs doesn't care that Pappy split up their show on the Score. It's about the pay check.

Comcast took away the "Jokers" show from Jiggs. He's happy to have something else offered to him.

should this show get off the ground, someone should egg Jiggs car on the first day and tell him North did it...then it'll have a chance. I still harbor fond memories of Jiggs telling North off every once in a while. it was the last time North had a decent show that bore his name.

What does the Harvard degree have to do with it?

I know Jiggs is all about the money. I know that is how he justifies these moves. That is a fairly shallow goal in life and certainly not one to admire.

dolphin, does the show stand a chance if Jiggs actually splits time equally with North and doesn't let him dominate?
