Vaughn has been shockingly decent, but this seems like a bridge too far. We'll see, Tony wants to fuck around and see what he can get away with I'm fine with it. Eloy has to play a position, his bat isn't so unbelievable that we can endure him as a full time designated hitter while Grandal and Abreu are still on the roster.

Agree with all of the above. But here is the issue. The White Sox scored 3 runs yesterday and a grand total of 3 runs in Milwaukee that were not driven in by a pitcher.

Score 7 or 8 or more today and any shoddy outfield play isn't likely to matter.


Also, I've softened my stance on Eloy playing the field, but Kauffman is a rather large outfield. He should have been DH only until the Sox returned home.
