I was just in LA and Orange County. She didn’t have to come back to LA to see people not wearing masks. There’s no mask mandate in Orange.

And even when I was on Santa Monica beach, people wore masks indoors as little as they possibly could.

I'd mask up too in L.A. probably got the bubonic plague floating around with all that filth and feces from the massive homeless population.

No disrespect to Doug, but the best way to do a Disney experience is to ignore all of it. I've never gotten it. I can think of 20 other places in the US alone to blow that kind of money on a vacation.

There are MANY non-Disney things to do there. Disney World is the size of Manhattan. You don't have to love 'Its a Small World" or taking pictures with characters to have the time of your life there.

And again, relative to other vacations you can take, it is very expensive.

I can have a good time at Disney. That's not the issue. I just don't get repeatedly doing Disney when there's so much else to experience.

My Sister (and her kids/family) along with my Mother, that now live in the Orlando area, they got this unlimited access something or other pass to Disney World. They're there almost every weekend it seems. At least based on the pics I was getting texted to me, especially when it was the dead of winter and it was 80* and sunny there and we're 0* and in 6ft of snow. So I was responding with pictures of me plowing snow.

To me that's about the only way to get the most out of the money spent at either of those places (Disneyland or Disneyworld). Get one of those all access passes that you can show up anytime.

I'd actually love to do a behind-the-scenes tour of Disney World. The Imagineering program on Disney+ is fascinating -- from the way the whole infrastructure is underground so you never see a truck or delivery, to the way they figured out how to eliminate mosquitoes.

Garlic grows in most of their plants, which bugs generally hate. Its not enough so that we notice the smell, but enough to keep the critters away. Also, they will release chickens and cats some nights so they eat the bugs and rodents that may be present.

I would guess if you are going to Disney yearly that it isn't your only vacation.

The beach is great for adults but nothing beats Disney for a kid.

i was you. and then we went. and then we went again. and even this guy who's idea of a vacation is sitting on a remote lake catching walleye, absolutely loves the place and can't wait to go back.

I have nothing against Disney. I get that it's awesome. I just don't get going there over and over again. It is truckloads s of money and there are other places to see for that kind of coin. That's just me.
