Disney sucks, always has, always will. You have to do it, but it sucks.

The best way to do a Disney experience is a Disney cruise.

No disrespect to Doug, but the best way to do a Disney experience is to ignore all of it. I've never gotten it. I can think of 20 other places in the US alone to blow that kind of money on a vacation.

i was you. and then we went. and then we went again. and even this guy who's idea of a vacation is sitting on a remote lake catching walleye, absolutely loves the place and can't wait to go back.

I have nothing against Disney. I get that it's awesome. I just don't get going there over and over again. It is truckloads s of money and there are other places to see for that kind of coin. That's just me.

I just don’t understand your aggressively anti-Disney stance. It’s the happiest place on earth - why must you hate it so?

I'm not a fan either

It's hot, surrounded by kids having meltdowns, expensive, food isn't very good, seems manufactured/material there is a phoniness to it, lines can be rough, rides aren't very good, too many people, they ruined Star Wars.

Shows are good as is service, but there are so many better vacations to take. Their cruises are excellent.

people spend their money on a lot of things others consider dumb.

if you go to Florida between April and September...well, that's on you. I've eaten at nearly all of the high-end restaurants at the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. The food does not suck.

the keys to the kingdom tour was excellent. i highly recommend it.

also...July sucks.

I was just fucking around, but Disney can be awesome. Granted my kids are young so some of those things on your list aren’t as relevant for me, but the last trip we had there was one of my all time favorite vacays.

I don't think the food sucks, it's okay/not great especially for the cost. There are only a couple places in Spings I would recommend. What restaurants did you like?

Keys to the kingdom tour would be cool.

If I want to get away from kids, crowds, subpar foods, and manufactured phoniness, a cruise definitely seems like the thing to do.

The shows and activities were good, the food was okay - banquety and included I think so there wasn't the sticker shock like in restaurants and there was some cute stuff in the dining rooms, getting on and off the boat for excursions was good, from memory most of the kids and the parents on the ship were pretty well behaved which has not been our experience at the parks. Everything was branded and service was phenomenal. We said at the time it's like if you took all the good of Disney and left all the bad you have the cruise. Felt like it was more about time than stuff. No lines, no hot weather, the parks always seem like a bit of a let down. you pay thru the nose for a cruise though.

San Angel Inn at Epcot is one of our favorites. Captain's Grille at Yacht and Beach Club is another good one. Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom is kind of hidden, but is also good.

My wife just got back from the area....she dog-sitted while our daughterand S-I-L stood up in a wedding out of town. Yes, July in FL sucks. I was glad to be home here

I'll re-iterate, repeated Disney isn't for me. It is for many others. That's cool. NOLA is my place I could visit once a year. I'm sure others think that's silly. NOLA also sucks in July.

July DiCaro also sucks 12 months out of the year

The Yachtsman, Narcoossee's, California Grill, Chefs de France, Monsieur Paul, Homecoming, Le Cellier, Teppan Edo, Enzo's, The Edison, Hangar Bar, The Boathouse, Jiko, Ohana, Tusker House, Via Napoli, Flying Fish, and Yak & Yeti.

...are a few places I would recommend.

I would go to NOLA once a year...in January.

I would go back to Colorado and hike mountains like I did Friday, Sunday, Monday, and yesterday. That was most definitely not a relaxing vacation. hardest shit I have done since football two-a-days.

Hawaii? Let's go!

I don't know the resort ones, maybe that's the issue, but I would think as with the the park food it would come off as banquety which isn't horrible or completely their fault. The only one in Springs that I liked was the boathouse, I didn't really like Enzos, Hangar bar was okay just not my thing. I feel like I always have better food offsite. Antonios Maitland and the whiskey are good places.

I think the Ritz Carlton at Disney had a brunch or dessert buffet that I wanted to go to but Covid.

The only buffet type place is Tusker House. The remaining places are traditional "restaurants" and do not have a banquet feel to them. Only five of the 18 places I listed are at resorts.

If you want banquet feel dining, then make reservations at Be Our Guest.

Try the grey stuff, it's delicious. Don't believe me? Ask the dishes."

I think the food at the resorts would be banquety like a wedding or hotel food or something. Just not my thing, even the good ones are just not usually my thing.

I enjoy my time at Disney but hope to never be able to utter the words "my favorite Disney restaurant"

It's fun but at the end, you see the bill and realize you could have gone to the actual places Disney replicates for a similar price

I’d add Citricos to that otherwise comprehensive list. Generally speaking, the food at the resorts seems better than the parks.

And now that they serve alcohol everywhere the experience is much improved.

So i too would not be able to get around going over and over again (we have a guy at work who he and his kidless wife go 3 times a year, thats wierd) But every 4 or 5 years, i'm in. i'm literally a giant cheapskate everywhere else so cost wise, whatevs.

German place was a buffet I thought? I am not a Disney person but whatever floats your boat. I'm also not a go to the same place every year person either so maybe that is part of it but the crowds really wore me down, as did chasing kids. I hadn't been to a Disney property since I was 2 but it was a rough week with the kids 8 or so years ago when we did it. Maybe if my family had been more into it I would have felt differently and maybe if my boys had enjoyed it more but the characters kind of freaked them out.

We took my kids to Disney World in January of 2019 when they were 18 and 15 and it was the best vacation we ever had together. We felt bad for the parents with strollers and all that shit. We came and went easily as we pleased with ease and it was amazing. We will likely never go again until we have grandkids perhaps. I admire the parents of young stroller-aged kids dealing with all the shit that goes along with that, they are hard-core.

months of winter over one July in Florida, fuck that shit.

I went to Disney two years ago. My sister has a time share for resorts. So the price was good. We divided it by 6 of us. My Dad, me, two sisters, two brother in laws.

We had fast passes for rides cuz of her deal. So that was cool.

We ate at this buffet place at the Magic Kingdom, and I thought the food was excellent. I have no idea the name of it. But it was in the park.

My sister just led us around. She knows the place. She goes 3 times a year to Disney stuff. Be it Disney World or cruises. She and her girl love it.

I didn't think I would like it that much when I agreed to go. But I did. I actually loved it. 2nd time I've been. First time was when I was 6.

I think they do everything first class at Disney.

This is from the first company to have an openly trans wrestler in Nyla Rose.

As of right now, Caster remains on AEW’s roster, and we have no idea to what extent AEW was involved in this script. And AEW did not respond to Deadspin’s request for comment..

She realizes wrestling isn't real right? Are bad guys in fiction to be fired from their jobs for saying mean scripted lines?
