One of the best workers in the business.

i think they were a 'whole is greater than sum of parts' thing
Neither of them were that great individually but it was a good team

Yep, along with the best mouthpiece of the era.

Yeah no doubt. Them and the RR express had one of the greatest runs of all time and none of them individually were all that great.

Eaton hung around WCW for a long time as a midcard singles guy and the fact that he was part of one of the best tag-teams of all time barely came up. Even in 1997-98, he was a solid worker who could go out and improvise a quality match. I know he had the run with Steve Austin in the Dangerous Alliance after the MX and then a run with Steven Regal, but they should have kept using him as a tag-team specialist with a mouthpiece: basically the MX formula forever.

I feel bad for Jim Cornette.

Bobby Eaton had nice little single runs during the Dangerous Alliance time, and then again with Regal in the Blue Bloods.

He always needed a mouthpiece.

Oh my god corny's experience this weekend (ifbhebeven does one) isngoing to be something.

here's a ~2hr documentary on beautiful bobby on youtube. Lots of more obscure names from.back in the day as opposed to.just cornette dwnnis/stan and the rock n roll. MANY ppl get in on.tbjs one.

also, in tribute everyone should play giorgio moroder's "the chase" on their way ro work as a tribute to bobby + the midnights. Its still kinda surreal seeing old NWA/JCP/WCW clips where theybcone out to this music. It always makes me feel like a little kid again with TBS on the old ohone-dial style channel changer cable box!

Srsly thisbtrack encaosulates the epoch so perfectly it gives me shivers and smiles remembering dennis/stan and bobby and corny coming into some little podunk arena in the carolinas!

The ripoff was kinda lame, but the original Giorgio Moroder track? [chef's kiss] Italo-Disco classic.

Earl Robert Eaton

Didn’t they have Bill Dundee with them at that point as Squire William or some shit?
