Stopping by as I am coordinating my officiating schedule/Cross Country Coaching schedule/school schedule/rehearsal and gig schedule while also completing the Hate Speech/Harassment Video from the IHSA. I damn near got hit by lightning. Out of nowhere.

2nd closest I’ve ever gotten.

One time, farm story, I was driving and all the hairs on my arms started standing straight up.

As soon as I looked and thought, that’s weird, lightning hit the fence post about 6 feet away. Didn’t hear well for a while. Not as bad as the Skynyrd concert. But close.

As a yout on a family vacation we were driving through Utah or some other miserable flyover state and lightening struck a few feet in front of the family station wagon . Strangest light I've ever seen.

They kept showing shots of Sox players goofing around, playing rock, paper, scissors with the crowd and each other...it was basically 9 innings of NBA fourth quarter blowout garbage time. Pretty reminiscent of the lovable loser Cubs days when the team was already eliminated by early August, those late meaningless late season games were where guys like Kingman would pad their stats by trying to jack everything, but today that's everyone in the lineup.

This will go on for at least the next few years.
