If Robert gets his timing back quickly, The Yankees's series should be fun

Ya know what nerd? Save the sky point for when you're not down 10 late and your whole team now has 2 fucking hits.

This finally healthy Sox line-up basically just runs a train on opposing pitching staffs.

IN fairness, the Cubs roster sucks right now and the Twins have pretty much all season.

Still, nice to see a winning streak as this team was scuffling for a bit. Tougher stretch coming up with the Yankes, A's, Rays, and Jays. They are right there for best AL record which would mean the Sox play the wild card winner in the ALDS after said WC winner has burned at least one of their two top pitchers. Obviously now that is the goal.

The Twins are actually not that bad of a ballclub against everyone else and if it were not for their 4-13 record against the White Sox they'd probably be in contention this year.

Taking away the Sox W-L from the Twins overall record would put them at 44-52, and not in contention.

Pretend they go 13-4 against the Sox (a level of domination they have achieved over the Sox in the past) instead of 4-13. It'd be a big different, they wouldn't be that far behind Cleveland.

Even if they were .500 against the Sox, the Twins are still well below .500 against everyone else. Twins offense can be pretty good. Their pitching this year has been dreadful. They are who they are. I'm glad they suck.

This

Fuck the Twins. The only good thing about their last stretch when they were good was that they would get to the playoffs and shit all over themselves.

No Cruz and no Buxton, and these guys aren't anything special. Maeda came back to earth as well .

I like it. Collins should be very worried about his roster spot btw.

Agree. I would keep Zavala when Grandal returns. And given that Zavala has started 17 of the 24 games since Grandal got hurt, the Sox might feel the same way too.

I think the injury concerns with a rushed return timetable of Yas means they carry three catchers. I could be wrong, they clearly like Brian Goodwin a lot and want to keep him around, but its gonna be tough for Yas to handle that workload for his first few weeks back.

Do you know Zavala's batting without that 1 game? Like .150.

I don't really care either way, Zack couldn't hit a pumpkin right now. But you have to understand something about him. He needs ABs to see the ball well. That's his past. He may never be a good backup but ironically he might be a good first teamer.

Zack struggles with just catching the ball. It's an issue since he's a catcher.

I hear ya. I'm not blind. He had a first half where he didn't struggle. We were all surprised. He even improved his framing. The question is was that real or fake?

Seby probably has no bat. He struggled for 2 years in Charlotte. 3 if you count this one. Low ceiling, fellas.

When Grandal is inserted into this line-up, it's the perfect one. This is who I roll out in October.

Probably not as I bet they wait until Sep 1 to bring Yas back jus so they can carry 3 catchers

Few things have surprised me more than to see Adam Engel become a decent-enough hitter.
