How bad must you be if you are a 6th round Corner/Nickel back, the team only kept 4! and your ass still got cut?

I like Johnson but he is not ready to be a lead of a CB group. I have no idea what they saw in Vildor that gave them the confidence to hand him a starting position. I didn't think Duke Shelly was good in the time he played last year.

There really is no fixing the position at this point. They have to hope the pass rush is great or these players take a huge leap from last year. It can happen, as all were 1-2 year players but I wouldn't bank on it

Tons of bad paper on D biting Pace in the ass right now, he better hope the two guys he's committed a significant percentage of his cap money to at OLB earn their money.

I thought Thomas Graham looked good the couple times I noticed him, was surprised he got cut.

They definitely need some help there

You'd think Pace could have fixed some of these gaping holes by not keeping ancient Jimmy Graham. Are they not high on Kmet taking the next step?

I think he will be an NFL player down the line. He isn't ready to be rostered right now. I think they know other teams know this as well so they have no fear exposing him to the market, then signing him to the practice squad

CB and OL are two of the most important positions and we are screwed on both. But hey we got 5 TEs

JP Holtz, for the five plays you may need him a game.

I assume if they can find something serviceable on the wire this will change.

6th round pick Dazz Newsome must really suck as the Bears have added two more receivers to their active roster this morning

I don't think that Danny Trevathan is long for the Bears.

My wife's cousin sold him a kitchen remodel for his home. He said he (Trevathan) is one of the dumbest humans beings on the face of the earth.

Thanks Bob.

I'm not sure how I would have finished the day without that info from your wife's cousin.

After missing nearly two weeks of training camp with what the Chicago Bears described as knee soreness, inside linebacker Danny Trevathan started in the team’s final preseason game. His short outing apparently was enough to determine he will need a stint on injured reserve.

A league source said the Bears are expected to place Trevathan on IR, which adds context to the team’s decision to keep seven inside linebackers on the 53-man roster.

I'm thinking that if Ogeltree does well, then Trevathan will be cut

Ogeltree looked 30 years younger than Trevathan.

Well, George Burns finally died so I guess Artie Burns was the best Pace could sign.

Very small sample size, but based on listening to interviews with Trevathan and Devin Hester I have developed the "Clawmaster quick twitch/intellect Theory".

My theory goes something like this, people that are blessed with an overabundance of fast twitch muscle fibers (basically genetic freaks) are able to outrun everyone as kids, so they never have to develop the ability to think through problems like the rest of us that cannot outrun everyone. They just take a toy and run away, no need to talk to other people or share things, they can just outrun everything. It continues in their athletic careers as they leverage the ability to outrun/outjump everyone into lucrative NFL/NBA careers.

Like people that are genetically blessed with appealing physical appearances they can rely on their physical gifts early in life, no need to learn or develop intellectually, opportunities are made available to them based on physical gifts.

Never mentioned race, you will find speedy white guys are the same, had a guy Shane on my High School team that ran a 4.6, but was dumb as a bag of hammers, also include people like Pamela Anderson, etc...people that are gifted physically are rarely MENSA members.

Again, just a theory based on random anecdotal evidence.
