I was thinking of watching the races, but I probably won't because I really like watching the show and not knowing what is going to happen. There was that massive crash last year with Grosjean and I was on the edge of my seat.

Yes Mercedes was so far ahead of everyone else in power and reliability it really killed the show. There had been dominant cars before but the reliability was a lot worse so often times the best car wouldn't win. Mercedes didn't help matters by not giving Hamilton a teammate that could compete with him. Rosberg was pretty good but Bottas has been a disaster.

Yes the Grosjean crash was a bad one. He is racing in Indycar now. The mortality rate in the 60s and 70s was ridiculous...they would lose a driver or two every season.

This season has been better as the Honda is finally powerful enough to allow Red Bull to challenge Mercedes. Red Bull has always had the advantage in aero but they didn't have enough power to really challenge them. Verstappen is probably the best driver in the series but they have had bad luck which I'm sure you'll see on the show.

have you watched the show?

My favorite driver is Daniel Ricardo just because he's hilarious.

I haven't watched yet but I'm sure I will binge it later. I heard it was more for the casual fan and some parts were a bit dramatized. I've only heard good things about it though.

Is Ricciardo with Renault? I don't want to give anything away I don't know if the show is doing the current season or last year? He is quite a character. He is a big Dale Earnhardt fan.

I've seen all 3 seasons. He was with Red Bull in season 1 and I think he was with Renault the last two, but at the end of the last season he signed with McClaren.

I also thought it was cool that the guys who run the teams are basically celebrities as well. The guy from Red Bull is married to Ginger Spice!

Yes this season he is with Mclaren so it looks like the show runs behind which makes sense. I want Mclaren to do well as their CEO is an American. When he took over Mclaren was in very bad shape but he has brought them back. The UK fans were not happy when he took over but he has won them over.

Motorsports is massive in Europe. You see a lot of celebrities at the races. Its pretty much soccer and racing over there.

The way they do it is they release the show right before the next season starts. So you get a nice wrap up of the previous season right before the next one starts.

Next season should be the best one yet then as there is a lot more going on. Mclaren have Mercedes power and Hamilton's old nemesis Alonso has returned.

The Documentary on the Danberry trashers was pretty damn entertaining, surprised I've never heard about them..it was only 18 years ago..or whatever year the NHL lockout was.

Untold: crime and penalties is how you can find it

Has anyone watched You on Netflix? My wife wanted to see this and I'm watching it with her. It's about some dude who stalks a chick and kills people who get in his way. Kinda Dexter like with the narration and style. It's been interesting for the first several episodes.

Enjoyed the first couple seasons of All American, but this latest season is all social justice BS.

It was very good. Kinda surprised Netflix let this go on as it celebrates the politically incorrect in just about every way you can.

This guy has more suicides around him than Jim Jones. And what ever became of the pee jar? And his blood was in the yard where he was shot in season 1. And his blood was in the robot vacuum. And... well... this is getting to be a bit much. Oh! And he pieced together words and ghost wrote the book from the last episode of season 1? And the ID guy just split and took off? And he was able to overpower the pinkie guy? This... oh boy.

Im sure it gets worse. It has to.

So you'll be watching season 3 eh?

It started with so much promise. Then he built the bookshop plexijail in the world's largest storage facility by himself (in two days) when he only has like 300 bucks to his name, living in LA.... ON RETAIL CLERK SALARY

Probably will hate watch it.

S2 is what I would call a step down from the first season.

I’ll let you finish it tho before I say anything else.

Hes slightly more buff than he looks in that gif. Plus a bit of psychopath strength.

I would be curious to hear what you think if you watch some races. 2014 to the present is probably the worst period in F1 history so I'm curious if someone coming from the show finds it entertaining.

Is that because of the Mercedes domination? I could see that it would be a little boring if every week the same guy is always at the top.

I was thinking of watching the races, but I probably won't because I really like watching the show and not knowing what is going to happen. There was that massive crash last year with Grosjean and I was on the edge of my seat.

F1 has been the same way through history. Especially since the eighties with Piquet, Prost and really through Senna (rip) and Schumacher.

I didn't start watching F1 until '94 or '95 and followed it fairly closely for several years until they instituted rules changes that limited overtaking and made the races more of a processional than anything else. I started watching again a couple of years ago and have followed more closely the last two seasons.

During the rain delay last week they showed a feature about Mick Schumacher driving the car his father drove in his F1 debut. It was excellent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daHOq_Z ... hannel=MSC

I’m the biggest comic book nerd I know, and even I thought the show was absurdly unrealistic.
