Well, I read that Shadow Traffic is tightening their belts/letting people go. What kind of people, it didn't say: we know that some people on the Score were/are Shadow guys. Kerner and Zaidman, for example. Of course, they might be offering a subcontracting service to managers who can't hire (yet) but can spend consulting monies for voice talent. "Try before you buy" contract-to-hire deals...

Anyway, that's one less spot for Jen to land at. Pfft, she could end up producing shows over at the syndicators'. Let's see if she produces Hub's PFW show...

She'll be lucky to do the hog reports out of Omaha.

When she left the Score the way she did, that was essentially the end of her radio career....Unless Pappy gets a job somewhere.

Why should we feel sorry for Jen? Was she asked to read a book?

nobody forced her to quit the score, she did it on her own. she thinks north will get another cushy gig and she wants to ride that train. don't feel sorry for her, she will use her looks to get by in this world, if not pappy, some other sap will fall for her.

yes, Shadow Traffic/Metro Networks is laying off some staff right now. And guess what? They're getting rid of veteran/older staffers who make more money, but they're always looking for fresh, entry level drones who make entry level salaries. I have said this before, Jen has a college degree, she needs to use it and get away from the sinking ship known as "pappy". I doubt pappy is giving her that much dough, butfor sure, she has no benifits, no 401k, no health, no nothing, thats a risk and someone should point that out to her.

but you are forgetting the fringe benefits of working for pappy

1. get to hang out with famous people, fritzy, knuckles, jessie rogers, the list is endless

2. when bebe is out of town, free use of pappyland

3. getting to smell mike north's breath after he downs a beef samich

4. half price subs at tony's deli

5. access to the wisdom and mind of mike north--this one is priceless
