Nebraska -13.5 (first half) vs. New Mex
Doubling down on the Cornholers by playing them in the first half also. I expect a quick start for Bo's boys playing their third game against NMS seeing its first game action.

Southern Cal -11.5 v. Ohio State 2**
Ohio State proved two seasons ago that they weren’t national championship material when they got absolutely slaughtered in the title game by Florida. Ohio State got another chance to play for a national championship last year. They weren’t slaughtered this time, just drilled. In both games, Ohio State was exposed as slow, uncreative, and physically outmatched.

Last week as a 34-point favorite against Ohio, the Buckeyes couldn’t even score the spread, and needed a punt return TD to get within within double digits of it.
Yards-Per-Play: Ohio 3.9, Ohio State 4.0
Stat Score: Ohio 18, Ohio State 19

I could write a lot about USC but the important part of this bet is all about Ohio State and how, against the best teams, they have been exposed as slow and overmatched. I expect the same here.
USC 37, Ohio State 13

Week 3 It's Never Too Late

WISC -1 1/2 @ Frenso St. (50 1/2)

Badgers give a beatdown, but both teams get three TD's. Take the over.

UNLV @ Arizona St. -25 (52 1/2)

Rebels are stunningly bad, and that's just their uniforms! Take the over.

NFL Picks from Pinnacle Sports

Titans +1 vs Bengals- The Bengals looked bad last week and the Titans are better on defense, I think Collins helps the Titans offense.

Saints+1 vs Redskins- I think the Saints have something special and even though COlston out, Drew never really has a favorite receiver so it won't matter.

Browns +6 vs Steelers- I think the Browns need this one if they want to make a play for the division, I know it's just week 2, but with a team like the Steelers don't want to get down too much.

Carolina -3 vs. Bears (Greek)
One good game doesn't raise the Bears' power rating to the level of the Panthers. Both teams were very impressive last week. Welcome back to the playoff echelon Carolina. If the Bears win today, we can welcome them back to that group too. Bears got a month worth of big defensive plays in one week. Hard to see that happening two weeks in a row.

Indy-Minny OVER 43 (Greek)
Indy has defensive issues (again) stopping the run. Minny can run. Minny has trouble defending passing teams. Manning may throw 49 times again. Shootout in the dome.

These are from Oddsmaker

Oakland +3.5 over KC

Both teams aren't too good so I will take the pts.

StL +9 over NY Giants

Dont think the Rams are as bad as they looked last week. Time to start going against the Super Bowl Champs.

Tenn Pk over Cincy

I think Cincy is in for a long year. Losing Young might actually be a good thing for the Tenn O.

Indy -1, I am disappointed Vegas didn't favor Minn but I think they are right, Peyton dissects Minnesota's non existent secondary and the TJ "no quarterback" factor

Indy/Minn Over 43, Indy might score 43, regardless Minn will get some garbage pts as they always do making this a high scoring game

Wash -1, not a popular pick but Wash seems to play much better at home

Cleveland +6.5, Cle sucks against Pitt but I think their defense shows up today and lose but in a close one

Denver +1, LT QB regardless I am on the Jay C bandwagon, Denver wins this regardless if LT plays

Stl +9, I keep betting on these guys and get burned, this week they play well and upset the GIANTS!

Atlanta +7, TB is the most boring team ever, they can't blow someone out, this will be a yawner but close BG starting Qb wow!

Seattle -6.5. Seattle bounces back with that NW bad weather home field advantage they have, I still say they win this division with a losing record.

Cincy -1, again I am disappointed Vegas didn't have this with one point on the flip side, but I think cincy bounces back at home, god my fantasy teams hope so!!

Pats/Jets -- Over 37 -- For much the same reasons mentioned above by C2C. Both teams can still score points.

Buffalo +4 -- Jacksonville has some OL problems, and Buffalo should be able to exploit them by stopping the run. Edwards is also getting better at game management, and they should be able to keep this within 4 on the road.

One more off the wall pick:

Rams OVER 7.5 points team total first half. (Greek)

Rams were horrible last week and the Giants were impressive against a Skins team struggling to find their O. Teams that are humiliated like that usually come out with at least a little fire playing at home...and in their home opener no less. I expect the Rams to come out of the box today and put up more than 7 points in the first half.

Sunday night Bad weather alert:

Cleveland-Pittsburgh UNDER 43.5, 3***
Looks like Ike is rolling into Cleveland this afternoon and tonight. It's not just the rain that leads me to play this under, but the anticipated winds of up to 35 mph. Wind is a much larger factor on unders than rain. A sllop fest in wind means under under under.

Both from SBG

Over 46 Sd/Den

I see the team that wins this one scoring in the high 20's-low 30's. I dont see a blowout so over it is.

San Fran +6 over Seattle

I dont think this is the same Seattle team of the last few years right now. Possibly a SU upset?
