Reminds me of the one time I met Mike North. We were at the annual banquet of the Chicago Sports Hall of Fame and he was one of the inductees. ND grads fall into this category. Some guy the other day managed to work it into our conversation. Responding to the claim that it doesn't matter what college you go to once you start the first day of work, he said, "That is exactly what they told us on the first day of college at my little Catholic school in north-central Indiana." Then someone (who knew him better than me) asked him if he went to St, Marys College and he got all pissed.
