one type of commercial that really brings my piss to a boil is the "bad singing" parody style of ads.

the most recent offenders are hellman's "nothing into something" mayo commercial. i like mayo on a turkey sub, but not on just about 100% of the things they're putting it on in this ad, to boot.

then there's petsmart's "anything for pets".

dancing commercials are pretty aggravating. but the singing...it's worse than bubonic plague.

I hated this commercial but I've come around.

That Walter E. Smithe commercial where the one woman says "it's been a tough year, you deserve an upgrade" with a reassuring smile makes me feel better.

I've actually never really paid attention to what they're saying. I'm too busy checking them out in their tight jeans or their legs if they're wearing skirts.

A few other commercials that drive me nuts;

1) Any of the Subaru commercials with the dogs in human roles. I love dogs. I own dogs. But seeing a puppy in a child safety seat sitting spread eagle pumping his paw at another dog driving a semi, trying to get him to pull the horn, just makes me want to punch, well, small puppies... Or the other one with them at a hot dog stand, then seeing a family of wiener dogs walk by and them (the wiener dogs), giving the other dog family the sad eyes... yea, fuck off.

2) The new nissan pathfinder commercial on radio where they're in a sporting goods store where the dooshcanoe guy is asking for all this equipment and the store person asks if they can handle all that. To which he responds "6,000 pound towing capacity..." So basically your revamped SUV does what every other SUV in the same class does. Congrats nissan...

I don’t know about wanting to kill but I’m mildly irritated by the pharmaceutical commercials in which the person with the ailment describes their condition as “moderate to severe”, as if that’s how you would say it in a real conversation.
