He was also a (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky guy until midway through last season. That said, DAC is correct and I’m a Parkins fan.

True. And Hub is still over the moon about Dick Jauron.

I have not listened to the score since Bernstein tried to have people doxx the guy flashing the OK hand sign at the Cubs game.

Seems like a good reason.

Wasn’t there a year that Hub had the Chiefs winning the super bowl and they finished with the worst record in the league?

Parkins told me he covers the sox better and with more frequency than any damn show in the city, including the flagship.

I'm sure Parkins will join Bernstein in saying this was all Nagy's fault (which is mostly true), but he touted Fields as being so athletic he'd be better equipped than Dalton to overcome a shitty offensive line.

Dalton's ability to recognize defenses/blitzes pre-snap and plan and execute a response allows him to punish a defense for selling out and sending extra guys. Fields doesn't appear to have the ability to recognize and respond quickly to extra pressure. So defenses figure out they can send extra pressure against Fields without concern that they'll give up easy plays underneath.

Fields might be able to run a 4.4 forty, however, he has a slow or extended first step. Fields repeatedly got tripped up by defensive lineman chasing him down in situations other running QB's (Wilson, Mahomes, Rodgers, Lamar, Murray, Tom Brady even) easily either sidestep or accelerate away from quickly enough to avoid the sack.

If you can't pick up the blitz and make the defense pay by passing immediately after snap to the uncovered guy or if you don't have the footwork to stay upright while avoiding the rush, you get yesterday's result.

Russell Wilson played behind leaky offensive lines his first years in the league (and beyond) yet somehow still managed to succeed:

2012 11-5 O-Line Rank: 20th
2013 13-3 O-Line Rank: 27th (won SB)
2014 12-4 O-Line Rank: 19th (lost in SB)

they're taking bad calls right now. B&B homage, perhaps intended....

Shane asked if he had to keep watching Bears games as part of his job as they are too painful to watch, and Tannehill said no problem...Boers crossed that line 20 years ago.

Listened to Parkins & Spiegel today take a few phone calls. They literally mock the caller while he's talking how stupid he is. But the caller is more interesting than the 2 hosts talking. These 2 mocking anyone about anything is a lot of balls.

Caught a few minutes of the show today and heard them making fun of the caller. No idea what the caller said but it was probably dumb. I still don’t need to listen to these two rip apart a caller about bad thought when they haven’t had a good thought in years. I might try to listen again next month.

Caught a few minutes of transition today before PTFB, Parkins makes Holmes and Spiegs look like NFL experts. Seems odd that the afternoon show has nobody that can give you an original Bears thought, they would be better off bringing in Uncle Terry or Pappy for a segment or two in order to inject some much needed energy, Parkins could go sit in the corner and look up odds or go get coffee. Can you imagine him doing a Bears post with Hamp or OB, he would wilt in the corner.

They really need to shitcan the Parkins vs Spiegel vs Parkins vs Spiegel segment. Listening to kids pick games is terrible radio.
