I liked El Camino.

I also liked El Camino.

It made me question why Breaking Bad didn't do a storyline or at least mention all the weight Todd lost before hooking up with Walter and Jesse.

El Camino was decent, saw it once and once was enough. It wasn't a pos like that deadwood movie.

I told all you guys to skip the Deadwood movie for months before it even came out. There was no way that movie was going to be good. Most overrated show ever. Had 1 good season. Then the second season was fair and the 3rd season was an unwatchable disaster. There was no reason to make a movie to continue that garbage.

the Deadwood movie was like the Curb Your Enthusiasm Seinfeld season except that season had some redeeming moments. the movie just made no sense it was so pointless and it made me sad.

Out this Friday.

David Chase says go see it in the theaters. Instead of home.

What is everyone here going to do?

I'm already paying for HBO so I'll watch it at home.

He didn’t even know how to end his own series. Don’t take his advice.

No, seriously. Will it be about Tony's dad?

I thought it wasn't going to mainly focus on Tony.

From Wikipedia...... Set in the 1960s and 1970s in Newark, New Jersey, using the 1967 riots in the city as a backdrop for tensions between the Italian-American and African-American communities, the film follows the teenage years of Tony Soprano in the midst of a violent gang war his uncle and family are involved in.

Reviews so far aren't overwhelmingly positive, but that just appears to be on expectation. Everyone wants a story on Tony....the movie isn't giving them what they want.

I, too, would be more interested in a movie highlighted on Tony's rise, but I'm not writing it. I'm sure it will be good. David Chase....always leaving the audience wanting MORE!

I've heard the opposite. The few reviews I've read so far say it's awesome.

It looks good if you know going in what the movie is about. I trust Chase.

There is some talk of another movie happening showing Tony in his 20s. I'm just going to wait to comment until I see this one first.

Wouldn't Tony have been like 5 years old in 1967?

not on a cheap gimmicky "cliffhanger".

we all knew tony was going to get his. he should've "disappeared" like hoffa did, and AJ whacked on camera. the show would've ended predictably but through its bad writing in the last 2 seasons, that's what it was leading to anyway.

I'm nervous about watching this because the Breaking Bad Netflix movie and Better Call Saul series have both been bad!
