I wont disagree with you at all. Chicago is a dying star. Once upon a time (not even that long ago!) the world's greatest city, and now its almost without any redemptive qualities. So leaving is smart, a natural decision. Anyone who stays is a fool, especially after the virus hysterics laid waste to all the small enterprise.

But leaving to the suburubs? Why? You're no closer to the mountains, you're no closer to the sea. The weather is still brutal. You're still going down the ship when it all finally gives out and collapses too. There's just no point in it. If you're gonna leave you go all the way.

My dad was like this. I have cousins who are like this. Do you know how much dolphin could save a year in tuition if he just moved across the street?
