The fit of the suit was so bad it was hard not to keep noticing it.

Oh, and he's not good at his job either.

like when you see him out there, you are like oh this is what a real stud qb does. like you aren't even concerned about what happens this year, you know pending injury years 2 and 3 will likely be dynamic.

I'm curious, is your disdain for Harbaugh because you're a Michigan football fan or strictly limited to him?

Some of both.

He’s done absolutely nothing there in five years other than lose big games. And he hasn’t come close to winning a big 10 title let alone beating Ohio State

He has learn to shut his mouth though, I’ll say that for him. That used to make it worse, all the shit talking with no results

I cannot disagree. He's been a massive disappointment. Even worse than Moeller.

Its not been a great ride as a Michigan fan. We are 5-0 and i still think everyone understands the inevitable. You can hire whoever you want as a coordinator or assistant. Harbaugh still runs the show and has no killer instinct in my mind. is fine just putting on the brakes and beating some turd team by single digits. its infuriating. But for me it all hinges on that QB. and while shea I guess could of been that guy, horrible coaching didn't allow him to be.

This week will be a big challenge - as much as it pains me, Nebraska seems to be turning a corner this season and Lincoln will be a tough environment. Even if they get past that game, UM still has MSU, OSU and PSU on the schedule.

So what's happening around here? Is Boilermaker Rick telling everyone that Brohm deserves to stay?

Brohm can go but he has to come back every year to coach against Iowa.

I'll feel the same about Matt Campbell once he finally realizes he will never be more than a nice story at Iowa State.

Because Kirk is Matt's daddy

So in all seriousness Brick, how much time is Purdue going to give Brohm? Are they still happy with him?

Personally, I think it they can continue on a nice stretch and get to a bowl, he probably stays. He is 11-18 since they beat OSU in 2018. But they are 3-2 right now and have 3 wins in the schedule and probably another 1-2 toss ups.

The important part of the question is that Brohm will be the coach this year and next year without question. He's highly paid and the schedule is just about perfect next year for a big season.

As for are they happy with him, the answer is a reserved yes. He's turned Purdue from a Kansas-level debacle to a middle of the pack Big Ten team that is competitive in pretty much every game. They have been building some good depth. There is a level of concern on the lack of qb development and how he has a lot of close losses to teams he should be beating such as Minnesota, Northwestern, Nevada, and Rutgers.

It's time to take the next step though. Make a bowl game this year. Win 8 or 9 games next year.

There is a 0% chance he is fired at the end of this year. I guess there is a chance he jumps to Louisville if things go terribly there but it's not coming from the Purdue side of things. Just not a financial decision that can be made at this point and it's also not a good idea to do a reset with how nicely the schedule lines up next year for a big year.

Sitting in the West now, I agree with you. They should be battling for the division lead yearly because you don't have to play OSU, UM, MSU, PSU etc every year.

Didn't Eli Manning do this to Arkansas one night in his senior season?
