Fart eyed Costas somehow confused Abreu for Vaughn, which was a nice little capper on a dogshit inning.

That was before he got hurt in last year's playoff.

He shit the bed both times the Sox gave him "run support."

You're right. He pitched scared.

His starter walked 4 and covered 13 outs. That's LaRussa's fault?

The starter was struggling and trying to nibble. You'd have to think that it made sense to start warming up sooner. Screw Lucas trying to get a win with a rested pen. Even the announcers remarked on it early.

Vaughn finally hits one well, and Altuve makes a great play. Just can't get a break this series. Hopefully they don't get swept.

Very disappointing.

He was ahead in most counts and for whatever reason he wouldn't go after them with 2 strikes.

A "waste" pitch has to look good enough that a guy might actually offer. This is a playoff caliber lineup. You're not gonna get one of these guys swinging at something six feet outside or over his head.

He couldn't have performed worse at the dish than Leury or Engel.

He fits right in with everyone else in the lineup not named Robert.

Unless we can actually hit breaking balls, this grind will remain a tough watch.

This game has the feel of the Sox getting the lead, then Kimbrel or Hendricks gives up a 2 run HR in the 8th or 9th to just rip our hearts out.

Yeah but remember that dominating outing he had against them ??

I'm pretty sure Leury started the rally where the runs were scored.

And he is worse than Engel. He might as well go up there without a bat.
