Yeah the kid who has never started a playoff game ? Sure throw him out there in the visiting ballpark in Game 1. I mean, Sox fans are howling about LaRussa starting Lynn game 1. Put Cease out there to start your 1st road playoff game and he gets blown up they’d be yapping about that too.

Kasper said Gioltio pitched well. I've heard others say he was no good. The truth is, it was an odd performance. He seemed to have his overwhelming stuff. He got a lot of guys into bad counts quickly and then he couldn't- or wouldn't- finish them. The next thing you know it was 3-2 and he was putting a guy on. Maybe the Astro hitters are just that good. I don't know.

Not enough people are talking about the unmitigated disaster that was the Kimbrel trade. That ruined the season.
