The Packers defensive line is a collection of fat white guys from the midwest. Is there a bigger bust that Rashan Gary? What an awful pick. Bears win by a FG.

The Bears put the clamps on a slightly above average QB. They won't be as stingy against Rodgers. The Pack can put up three TDs on the Bears and that still would be a success for the D. However, this offense can't score three TDs. They'll need good field position due to a TO and/or a defensive TD.

This seems like one of those games where the D does well but we still lose.

Packers 24
Bears 13

Bears D scores a TD.

That's the only way I see the Bears scoring close to 30.

Probably comes down to a Rodgers late drive.

Need more than 100-200 yards per game before I pick Bears for anything.

I think Rodgers is done.

Don Pierson told me every year in the same column for a decade that 37 year-old quarterbacks have precipitous drops in performance. It's the end.

I can see it in his effort and attitude. He's done. He no longer has the fire and the pashun.

Bears 34
Pack 13

Agree, but if the Bears rush for another 130+ yards, thats a recipe for success

This sounds about right, but I'll go

Packers 31
Bears 13

If Packers win this that would basically be a wrap on the division race by week 6, which is nice.

It's going to be a good game. Run first and physical football is always a winner. I hope that Fields makes enough plays to win. Have to see. I wish I've seen more flashes by now. Not concerned, but not convinced either.

Not all of his posts, but there is a sentence or 2 in every one that leave you pretty astounded. It also shows he doesn't really watch what he speaks of.

I don't see the Bears pulling this one off. This about sums it up.

Time to revisit this bit of Caller Bob wisdom...
Caller Bob wrote:

There's this...
But while Rodgers has been elevating his game back to MVP levels of late, the Packers have a budding star on defense who has been consistently occupying opposing backfields. That would be third-year pro Rashan Gary, who now ranks as one of the NFL’s best pass-rushers. According to one measurement, he had a whopping 10 pressures on Taylor Heinicke on Sunday, giving him 35 on the season — a total that ranks him fifth in the entire NFL. Gary more than doubled his season sack total on Sunday with his two sacks, bringing him up to 3.5 on the year, but if you view that stat as the only measure of pass-rushing effectiveness, it’s time to have a chat with outside linebackers coach Mike Smith. Indeed, Gary is one of the most consistent pass-rushers in the NFL right now, something the Packers sorely need with one Smith Brother out indefinitely and the other week-to-week.
https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/2021/10/25/22744607/cheese-curds-10-25-rodgers-gary-lead-the-way-as-packers-improve-to-6-1

and this...
After breaking out over the second half of last season, Gary appears to have taken another step as a player, going from an efficient rotational rusher to a consistently disruptive full-time player. It was a big jump, but games like Sunday proved the path of Gary’s development. The Packers took their time with a superior talent at a premium position, and now they are receiving all the benefits of his maturation as a rusher.
https://packerswire.usatoday.com/2021/10/24/rashan-gary-steps-up-big-for-packers-pass-rush-in-win-over-washington/

and this...
That’s why Gary should finally stop hearing words like bust and reach and instead should start hearing some new ones. Stud. Beast. Destroyer of worlds. If he can keep up this production, there might even be one more word Gary could hear thrown his way. Star.

10 sacks in 3 seasons, but looks like you found a nerd site like PFF to make it look like he's actually better than he is

Your "gotcha'" games are kind of cute though, remember when you tried the same with Eloy Jimenez? You were awful quiet though when Eloy didn't get do shit from mid-August all the way through the post season. Anyone can play your game, I do seem to take up quite a bit of real estate in your head.

Nice try but none of this has anything to do with his 1st 2 seasons. They knew when they drafted him it would take a few years. The point is (as usual) you posted something about a player you knew absolutely nothing about and couldn't have been more wrong. That is pretty much your calling card.

And for he record, it was 3 different nerd sites.

He had a nice game Sunday. I'm sure we will see the same energy out of you when he goes a few games without a sack.

It’s not about one or two games. He’s been good for a while now. You’re not a Packer fan so I don’t expect you to follow their players but you might do a quick search before choosing to post about one you clearly know nothing about. (Note: the “white guys” part was a bit strange too).
