It's hard to believe Jim Parque and Mike Sirotka outpitched every Sox starter in the 2021 ALDS.

As you should. But there are a lot of parts of that which this team reminds me of. The starting pitching was suspect coming in. Hell, Cal Eldred started a game with screws holding his forearm together. James Baldwin wasn't in much better shape. The big difference is that this bullpen is better, and there is a load more talent on this team offensively.
