He would have defeated Clinton in '96. All the polls showed it. It wasn't even close.

He would have been the first Black President. He would have gotten re-elected and been in office on 9/11 to guide the country in its response. Kept the Republican party more moderate. There probably would be no President Obama or Obamacare.

He was a pivotal character in history. Unfortunately, his influence was directed in the wrong direction.

I'm no Milt Rosenberg, but that's a counterfactual that almost really occurred.
