Have you found another NFL team to BandWGN on this year, Peoria Cusak?

What are you talking about? Did you forget to take your pills today, Bob?

It's not about meds...lucid thoughts just aren't his thing.

Bingo

Peoria Matt is a Sox fan now, just like John Cusak. Try and keep up.

 Mercy.

They're going to need Brady to forget what down it is at least once a drive to have a chance.

And to make it more fun, we will have the joy of watching the Bears get destroyed to the dulcet tones of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo.

We went in 2016. There were a bunch of Bears fans in our section. We all were on TV; all of a sudden everyone in the section's cell phones blew up because we all got calls from home letting us know

The Bears offensive line has been better than average. The offense should have enough time for Fields to throw on this secondary.

If you want to win this game, start Foles, who has two wins against Brady.

I don't think even Rodgers has two wins against Brady.

Rodgers has only one win against Brady in three meetings. Hard to believe they've only played three times against one another in their careers.

On the other hand, Rodgers has only one Superbowl win, which explains it.

The bears line is average at best and Fields holds on to the ball too long. And Tampa has problems in the secondary that Fields and this mediocre receiving group won't be able to exploit.

They've been above average all but 1 game. You're right about Fields holding the ball too long at times, but that is definitely a secondary they can beat.

Wish we all had a flask of the Bears Kool-Aid that Nas apparently takes a healthy swig from frequently, but while the O line was OK against an average at best Packers D line, it will face a tougher challenge against the Bucs. Really need to get at least one of the rookie tackles healthy enough to play in the second half of the year to see if they can actually play, it was nice not go the the obligatory Ifedi false starts last week, and the fact that you never hear Peters name speaks volumes about how well he has played, hopefully he can stay healthy. Really need to upgrade the C position next year.

Most of us though the offensive line would be the primary reason for the offensive struggles. I don't think it's unreasonable to acknowledge that they've been better than we thought. Fishing shape Jason Peters has been better than Charles Leno ever was. That has stabilized the offensive line. Like you, I would love for them to be great.

The kool-aid is great!

they better. look at the bucs. they know, 10000%, brady will not be brady if he doesnt have time.

so, they made a line like the god damn iron curtain. brady takes vacations back there.

the bears have to realize this. i cant imagine the coaches being dumb enough to think theres anything more to it. sure, the little black kid can run... but you cant rely on that.

Hopefully you are better luck than we were in '16. As I recall that was the game in which Long's ankle got destroyed.

We stayed in a condo on the beach in Clearwater for a couple nights before the game. Then moved to a hotel near the stadium for convenient post-game lodging before flying out the next day.

Only downside to the trip (other than the Bears' performance) was they would not let my wife on the pirate ship. She was not happy about that . Other than that it was a great time. I hope yours is too!

Is that the game where the Bears played so poorly that John Fox used his timeouts to keep the team on the field for as long as possible?

Since Brady is talking smack, I like the Bears +4.

We'll see what karma brings.

This is old Tom Brady. I think the Bears will figure out how to get to him.

The Bears ended the career of another 40 year old HoF quarterback and ended the season of Rodgers.

+4? Bears are +12.5. And I think it was +13.5 a few days ago.

Foles winning percentage against Brady speaks for itself. He beat Brady with two teams, even the Bears.

If the Bears actually started Foles, Brady would shit bricks. It would be like pinch hitting Kirk Gibson.

The Buccaneers will be without star receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) and three other key players against the Bears on Sunday.

The team will be missing Brown, tight end Rob Gronkowski (ribs), linebacker Lavonte David (ankle) and cornerback Richard Sherman (hamstring), coach Bruce Arians told reporters in Tampa on Friday.

Vea vs Mustipher is a huge mismatch, will have to get Fields on the move or run more outsize zone if they have any hope of running the ball. Will have to score points because at this point in his career Brady is like Jordan, he will get every call and even get a few phantom calls against your D to prolong drives, you can't even touch him without getting a roughing or a BS taunting call like Rodgers got against last week.

The NFL wants the QB's to be the stars and will make it almost impossible to defend certain guys, especially late in games.

Not ready to take a gulp of the Blue and Orange Kool aide yet (really miss the Monsters, especially on a Bears Monday), but positive steps from Fields in this game would be a win for the franchise long term, have not hope the Bears win, but if Fields is able to put points on the board it will be a positive.
