WEBio show for 9-17

He has Bruce Levine listed as a guest today, sorta surprised on that one.

One thing that is annoying is that spaceball is doing most of the lead in's and always ends them by doing that "whoo" thing, dumb.

Mike states his show has "thousands of listeners".

Bag Boy from the redeye is the co-host today. Dont get it.

bag boy thought the show was from wild fire, sounds disappointed there will be no free meal.

10 minutes of thanking the red eye and wildfire, ugh!

called bruce levine a good friend of his, funny, he use to take shots at him at the score if I recall correctly.

Mike challenged a chicago sky player to a game of 1 on 1, they turned him down according to pappy.

Mike is letting people know that the chicago sky are not drawing well.

Bag boy isnt funny, he fits in well.

Mike said when he went to vegas, you couldnt get a room, so that means the economy is doing good, not as bad as those democrates want you to think.

Jen chimed in to let people know that gas prices are real expensive right now

resteraunt business was down last week, because of the floods pappy states, not because people are low on money. I guess its easy to go out to dinner when one never has to pay for a meal Mike.

10 minutes into his sports talk show, he finally brings up the cubs and soxs.

3 minutes of sports talk, then the names abe vigoda, james caan and robert duvall come up for no apparent reason.

Bruce is on, bruce likes mike.

talking cubs and sox.

Mike thinks the cubs should leave fukudome off the playoff roster and put Pie on it, because Pie got one hit that he saw.

Bruce isnt really get time to answer questions, but when he does, he sounds good.

bruce interview was ok, bruce didnt say much that he doesnt say when on espn.

Mike says Ozzie is a better manager then lou because he has a world series ring......Pappy, uh, reds, lou was manager, won world series.

shocker, bag boy agreeing with everything mike says.

mike never got a job at the super market because he couldnt control the shopping carts, this turns into chopping carts with bad wheels.

bebe is in the stuido and doing that annoying laugh off the mic.

mike makes a point that he has no one calling in...

they are pretending like they are at wildfire now and ordering what they want.

Mike and Bag boy are wondering what happened to the "bumber sticker".

first hour ends, for sure this show is no different then his radio gig.

Pappy for sure puts in no effort for this show.

You can hear bebe and jen talking in the background while the show is going on, professionals till the end.

bag boy is trying to sound like lou, mike is laughing, its awful..sounds more like wanny.

Mike is now doing his ozzie voice, still awful, embarassing.

bag states that ryan dempster was traded by the reds to the cubs, then says, is that right? Mike says yes. No! Reds released dempster, cubs signed him that winter. a fountain of mis-information.

mike finally gets his first call, mark from downtown.

mark turns out to be bag boys roommate...lol just calling in to say hi to bag boy, no question for mike. but mark gets a $25 gift card for wild fire....jesus, i am calling in tomorrow if that means i will get free food.

Bag boy asks mike, "was there anybody cooler then dean martin".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-MWfLrg6TE

3 minute conversation about getting lost, asking for directions.

the ever entertaining email segment.

emailer spencer comments on how tiki barber has a new gig, which leads mike into his michael strahan story when strahan told him to be quiet, north said to go screw yourself, strahan went towards mike and in pappys words told strahan "you must have me confused with someone from new york, i am from chicago, we dont back down". oh christ, this story changes more everytime.

Only one email i guess

mike and bag boy have decided this country is fine, there is really no issue with the economy.

telling a george halas story..skipping it.

John mcdonough is on.

scanned through this interview...nothing.

talking weatherman now, john coleman story i guess.

spaceball doing a commercial for dontfademe.com. says times are tough (not according to mike) and what you should do, gamble... ok, that makes sense.

jeff pinkus from wind sitting in with mike tomorrow.

mike promises barf boy that he will be on again...cant wait.

the fans show....1 call from bag boys roomie and one email.

i need a drink!

if drinky or brendan lets me get on, that Pie over Fukudome for the playoff roster will be noted on WYC by yours truly...

I'm no "expert" but this show, his website and current insignifcance is NOT helping his potential job offers when his mystery contract situation mysteriously ends in a couple of months. If he's not on the air by February, he WILL implode or he'll leave town.

Heard (read) it here first.

I read a report that stated profits were down significantly across the board at Las Vegas hotels.

Was it broken down between hospitality and gaming operations?

Haven't posted here much as of late.

From Rodeo's report, Pappy's web show is basically 2 hours of Pappy singing the praises of Pappy and telling all of his haters "fuck you". Now, he did this on the Score but he did mix in some sports talk. There is no way this show makes money. Even if Pappy has 2 or 3 thousand listeners that's not enough to make any fuckin' money. The bums drumming buckets on the streets of Chicago have a bigger daily audience.

Rodeo-

Why do you devote so much precious time into covering every move that Northy makes? Do you have a personal stake in his demise? Is it curiousity? Whatever the case, you are inadvertantly keeping his name out there. I'm glad you're doing it. I think that I would get a headache trying to do the recaps.

Do you have an official "Mike North Watchdog" business card?

I find it really enjoyable to read about the total self destruction of a no talent egomanic.

I'm a Sox fan and wouldn't go that far.

Mike is a moron.

Jeff, I see your point. I am not doing it everyday and because my business is out of my house, I am bascially done with my day by 11am since I am up at 4am. I think pappy does a good enough job of keeping his name out there, I dont think me doing this has much of a impact, now if I wrote for the trib, maybe

Like I said a few times, there is a point I will be done with this, but since he took such joy in slapping people around when they were down, I am just giving him a taste of what its like.

Rodeo,

Thank you for doing this. Your reviews are hilarious, and I appreciate that you are keeping this tragedy alive.

The guy threatened Rodeo with a lawsuit. He has some incentive to enjoy this time.

Talk about pull the covers over your head "radio"

These recaps are awesomely horrible. I like your little comments too Rodeo. Kinda "Mystery Science Theatre 3000-esque" if you will. Please, keep it up

Yes, a real service is being provided here. I, for one, appreciate it.

A thought on why there's so little sports talk (apart from the usual reasons): North knows there'll be no chance with 670 or 1000, so he's trying to set himself up as someone who can do any sort of talk radio.

Here we go again...
A fellow handicapper, and a good one, has wagered my pal spaceball that I won't finish 500. Here we go again, another person underestimating the king. Oh well... Live & Learn. I'm the best in the country. Don't Fade Me!

The "king"???? I think jen is doing these updates.

Well don't forget he has Fred in tow...

This from a guy who didn't even know who Al Jefferson was, and both of them openly admitted to barely watching any NBA games. Now they suddenly know the ins and outs of every basket. Nice.

And he doesn't know Deshawn Stevenson from Deshaun Foster.

Booker T was the most recent king.

Then Triple H was going for a *short* time as "The King of Kings" (think that was a wise choice in names? Probably not.)

But I thought Brian Paruch was the current king in these parts.
