Turnt?

That was a great 4th quarter. Sorry to see those shitbags win, but that was a damn entertaining finish. No wonder the NBA moved to Tuesday's. They can't compete with that type of game.

Fan experience 1: yeah, we're in first place! and the tiebreaker is ours!

Fan experience 2: so, do you think we can crack 180 yards in offense this sunday?

Robert Tonyan wouldn't agree. Gone for the year with a knee.

As it did for the White Sox.

Also like the Sox, GB will get bounced disappointingly early from the postseason.

The NFCCG is disappointingly early? lol

Sorry Bernstein, but you're never gonna convince me that championships are the only thing that matters. This is the 3rd very enjoyable season in a row. I like how our team stacks up with any other in the league, especially if we get Jaire back for the playoffs.

Gotta be a miserable existence to have nothing to root for, only stuff to hate on, when following sports.

Sorry you don't hold your team to a higher standard, FF. At least you seem to have accepted that the Packers won't be playing in the Super Bowl again.

"We're good, not great" would make for a fine slogan on a green and gold Tshirt.

Resume wise we have the best team in the NFL right now. Doesn't get any greater than that.

Enjoy your "high standards", which in practical application just means you're not enjoying a good/great season as much as one should. They don't always come around. You of all fans should know that.

Correct. Packers and Rodgers have generally been a great regular season team.

I'll enjoy standards as much as you enjoy watching somebody other than the Packers representing the NFC in LA in a few months.

Dunno, as a Saints fan I've been left feeling empty (& robbed) after the last few seasons. And wishing that Bridgewater had started in the playoffs two years ago.

And there is no comparison to the Bears here, so you can quit with the false equivalencies, FF. The Bears are light years away from winning one playoff game, much less making the NFCCG. I and others have admitted that MANY times.

The Packers on the other hand have a much easier road when you consider who they have at QB and who is in their division. The fact that an all time great like Aaron Rodgers has won as many CCG games as Rex Grossman, Trent Dilfer, and Jake Delhomme is the very definition of disappointing.

Nobody has done less with more than Aaron Rodgers throughout his postseason career.

Now, should he return to the Super Bowl by beating the likes of Tom Brady or Matt Stafford or another non-backup QB, my tune would change significantly. I've always said Favre > Rodgers because ol Brett returned to the big dance.

Until Rodgers proves that he can win an NFCCG where the opponent isn't playing their 2nd and 3rd string QBs, I do as well :D

There is no false equivalency, Frank.

You are a Bears fan. I am a Packers fan. If you shit talk me about the Packers, the OBVIOUS comparison is them to the Bears.

It baffles me that you don't get this.

And if Bostick holds onto the onside kick this isnt true, yet because he muffed it, Rodgers is now disappointing.

Do you understand how stupid that sounds from an objective standpoint?

I like being meatballish about sports as much as the next guy but there's an on/off switch to it that you don't seem to have. You seem to genuinely believe your trolling bullshit is some type of objective truth

Here is a very simple question that requires only a YES OR NO answer.
Is it disappointing that an all time great QB in Aaron Rodgers has played in just one Super Bowl?

The objective answer is Yes.

And before you @me with Dan Marino or Drew Brees, the objective point of view is that Rodgers in his prime was likely better than both of those guys in their prime.

Gb is in same situation they were last year. Good but not good enough to make the Superbowl.

I don't. Maybe an intellectual like yourself can fill me in on why Rodgers would no longer be disappointing, and no longer be worse than Favre, if an entirely different player than Rodgers holds on to a ball?

Just like last year, this looks to be inaccurate. Two years ago they were not good enough. Last year they were right there with TB. They look to be in a similar position as last year. Hopefully LeFleur has learned from his cowardly mistakes.

You old enough to remember Marino in his prime? I'm not sure that's quite the consensus take you believe it to be.

 Right there with TB!

"We were good enough to hang with them, but not good enough to beat them"
That would go great on the back of the shirt I outlined earlier in the thread.

Regarding Bostic, you're picking on one play. I can pick on MANY plays from a game in which Aaron Rodgers, coming off of a SB win and a 15-1 season, was outplayed by Eli Manning at Lambeau Field.

"If"
