I heard that. I suspect he's somewhere inside Halas Hall and didn't want to admit that. He's clearly asymptomatic.

This explains why he did the press conference from his car. MANY would recognize his Halas Hall office.

Without being very familiar with SF, i feel confident in the bears losing this game. The front seven, forever the strength of this team, is decimated without Mack, Hicks and Quinn. This secondary is complete dogshit outside of Johnson, and Shanahan is smart enough to move Deebo around to evade him. 17 SF points at the half(which might be the lead at that point)will be enough for the 49ers to pivot to the run game against Nichols and Tonga and whoever, further sucking the wind out of the linebacking corps. Herbert has a chance at a nice day and will probably score once. Fields will once again be forced to escape pressure and do dumb rookie shit, likely to the tune of two TDs and two picks. It's beyond debating that this coaching staff lacks a cohesive offensive plan and the ability to optimize wide receivers and tight ends. Maybe a fluky td from horsted or kmet for shits and gigs.

49ers 27
Bears 21

Shanahan hasn't looked smart in a while and he may have traded up for the worst quarterback in this class.

Nas always finds a positive, gonna try to fill my cup up with Orange and Blue Kool Aide this Sunday and look for signs of development from young players, the rest of the year is all about developing Fields and finding a few young players that will be here in 2-3 years when the team is able to exit the Pace/Nagy era.

I'm going to side with Boomer....the rest of the year should be about not getting Fields physically destroyed and giving him chance to learn. He's clearly not ready for the speed of the NFL. Let Dalton and Foles take a pounding for a few weeks.

Yesterday I heard that his record is basically Mike Singletary Part 2.

It will be even more depressing when the offense is still trash because the personnel and Lazor suck and it’s not (all) because of Nagy.

It's all based on how well Fields plays.

The Niners have had how many plays of 10+ yards already? At least 4?

I like the flow of the offense. Damian Williams shouldn't see the field unless Herbert is tired.

He’s the best RB on the roster imo. A good problem to have because Monty is good too

Herberts combo of vision, bust thru the hole, and ability to get thru arm tackles is elite. He’s decisive and doesn’t dance around. He just moves forward
