Well we can exchange sources if you’d like but I’ll bet mine are better than yours. But just on a basic level, do you think Drs and Nurses wear them every day for no reason?

No, but they are working in an environment with more than covid at stake and working very closely with patients.

In an indoor setting speaking just about covid the effects of masks at preventing transmission are statistically insignificant, at best.

Vaccines are effective. Masks are theater

Well since FF gave the ok, medical professionals are not walking into an OR with gaitors made out of cut off sleeves, masks they’ve had hanging off the rear view for 8 months or chinstrapping something they grabbed at old navy.

Now if you want to parse " not really effective" to mean that doesnt mean they dont do shit we will agree to disagree.
Dr. Anthony Fauci said in an email correspondence last year that face masks aren’t needed unless an individual was sick and that the coronavirus was able to pass through personal face masks easily.

“Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading [an] infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection,” Fauci wrote to who is believed to be Obama-era Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell in February 2020.

Fauci, also the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, added: “The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out [the] virus, which is small enough to pass through the material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in [keeping] out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you.”

Can you read? (For you that is rhetorical).

That last bit is a nice talking point but false. Also, think about what you wrote. Essentially you admit Drs masks are effective on all kinds of stuff… but for some reason they aren’t against Covid? Note: I am willing to acknowledge (as stated previously) that many don’t wear the correct type or wear them properly, which significantly reduces their effectiveness. However if you wear a good mask in the correct manner they do. It’s simple and studies bear that out.

But studies don’t bare that out, at all. Time and again studies show that mask mandates literally have no effect. They dont do anything to prevent transmission at a statistically significant level. Whether that’s because the proper masks arent being worn or worn correctly is irrelevant because that factor isn’t changing.

That “talking point” is absolutely true.

Here we go. Please cite a few of these reputable studies.
Edit: I see that you’ve changed to mask mandates, which is different than wearing masks. Which one are you arguing?

I’ll do the work getting them to you when its not late on a Friday night but it’s telling to me that you think there’s a significant difference in those two things. If mask mandates are ineffective and you agree I think we might be in agreement and done here.

This thread. What a world where a Chicago sports fan message board turns Aaron Rodgers into a hero because he thinks ingesting essential oils and massaging colloidal silver equals “immunization.”

Aaron Rodgers medical talk is full of holes obviously. That's not the story. He's targeted differently than Henry Ruggs. If Ruggs was the COVID guy, and Rodgers the driver Rodgers would be the big story of course. But Ruggs COVID story would be a zero story. Rodgers is held to a much higher standard, and thus a more profitable target.

Is he really taking colloidal silver?

I guess we'll see if he starts to turn blue and die.

I used to take that as part of my supplement routine. Never seemed to help prevent getting sick.

He said he presented research to the NFL about it and “they thought I was a quack.” I doubt it was heady stuff.

The same NFL who didn’t believe in CTE until a couple years ago?

The same NFL that didn't publicly admit CTE existed to try and have as little exposure as possible for lawsuits, sure. I'm sure the NFL is also hiding that they know eating clay has wonderful health benefits.
