You mean the guy who played Mahomes to a draw tonight and lost the game because of abysmal specisl teams play?

Mahomes sucks this year and so does the KC D. All he had to do was put up 14 and he barely got 7 on a horrendous D. This game was tailor made opportunity against a bad d to show he belongs. All he did was reinforce the error to invest an early round pick in a QB when you already have one.

If you think Mahomes sucks that tells me what i need to know, thanks

I've been far more objective about Bears quarterbacks than you've been about Love. That's indisputable.

I thought Love looked scared in the first half, but he settled down nicely in the second half.

Who knows what they have in him, it was one fucking game. No one knows yet.

He's been in the league for 2 years, do you know what he does well? Usually, we're all able to identify a couple of talents that we HOPE a quarterback will continue to develop. I haven't seen 1 in the 4 games I've watched Love play in.

Showed a ton of poise today. Also showed a ton of fight. Needs ro fix his accuracy but a lot of that also seems to be him having zero chemistry with Adams which makes sense

Rodgers will be back trashing everyone in 2 weeks, you don't have to reply to every post from Bears fans saying your backup QB sucked.

Played well enough to get drafted in the 1st round. And literally my first sentence reply was something I named that he did well today

Josh Allen is built like Ben Roethlisberger and has a cannon for an arm. Love is built like a high school freshman and has Chad Pennington's arm.

Love is built like Mahomes and played him even today. If Crosby didnt have his annual shitty game this thread wouldnt exist

So you are hanging your hat on what you perceived as poise/fight and the Packers trading up to get him instead of a receiver? No actual talent or skill? I didn't think you could ever make me feel better about the Bears future chances of winning the division.

He showed me more than enough that if the Packers are going to roll with him for the future seasons they will be just fine. He didn't get the paint by numbers game plan most coaches would give a new QB. He went into the fire and had to read shit at the line and make calls. I think they hung him out to dry on purpose to see what he can do. Once he shook the jitters in the first half he was fine. The Packers offense is very weird and hard to run because it is basically Rodgers' offense and unless you are him you don't know all the tiny details and fine points that he thrives upon executing perfectly. Many teams run the offense that they show up with. Rodgers likes to get to the line and figure it out so the plays all have 5 options to them. That shit is hard to learn but you could see him trying to work through it today. He was just fine.

Sure.

Love looked fine today. Some encouraging and discouraging moments. Basically the exact thing id expect from a guy making his first career start. Went a hell of a lot better than Fields first career start.

I told you packer fans what a shitshow this would be, that is the worst defense in the nfl.. thats about as easy as it gets for this chump. When AR leaves in 3 months, this team becomes the lions.

I agree that the Packers could have prepared him better to execute the Rodgers offense after he only spent 1.5 years studying the Rodgers offense as his single job responsibility

Tough crowd. Where are you all at when Fields plays? Love's only pick was on a back shoulder that Adams had his hands on and didn't finish because it was maybe 2 inches too high. That is a ridiculously elite throw to even attempt. He also did a nice job of not being sacked 25 times in a game where he was under constant heat.

This is the equivalent of Laurence Holmes praising Mahomes for his "highlight reel incompletions". Talk about grasping at straws.

Showed a lot of heart tonight. He’s gonna be good

He's the 8th best QB in the NFC North

Hes better than any QB on the Bears or Lions. He’s probably the 3rd best in the division and that migt be generous to Cousins

OK, go with that. I can't wait to find out where Love stands in the division starting next year.

Also, isn't Dorsey running things now in Detroit? Something tells me that it won't be long before Love is the 9th-best QB in the division.
