Let's circle back to her picture being on the front page in the first place. On the left, you have Mary Dixon, who co-hosted a popular and successful morning show for the better part of 30 years until getting messed with and fired due to what appears to have been a personal vendetta. In the middle, you have Jennifer Roberts, who co-hosted afternoon drive for 12 years on what's usually the #1 or #2 FM station in the market and also left under dubious circumstances. Then, on the right, it's good old July, who is not in their league as a Chicago radio personality but, has, like I've said time and time again, been willing to go on Twitter and pick fights all day with guys from Lake Villa named Brendan to an extent that Mary Dixon probably cannot as much as she would like to. I've talked before about how the journos don't really respect Julie but give her little treats for being their attack dog, and I think featuring her in this story was another case of their treat disbursement. And even then, it's still not good enough for her because she thinks her coat made her look fat.

That story was pretty interesting, full of women with legit gripes. then julys section, where her gripe was Jimmy d was a weirdo and trolls are mean to her online. One of these things is not like the others

Yeah, exactly. Her inclusion really strengthens my theory that journalists go out of their way to look out for her for one reason or another. There's a whole ton of subtext to the Emma Mac section -- in my opinion, their whole situation was fucked from day one, Solk looked at her "I play better stuff than the rest of the station" show and immediately cancelled it -- but even then, there were legitimate issues there. Julie's was just that she gets in fights online.

Julie on "Chicago Tonight" at about 22:00. She talks about how marginalized she was at the station. I have to agree with her. But, she doesn't mention how toxic she is, and forced everyone to distance themselves. She doesn't mention how Les isn't included in the loop, and treated like dirt. She's female, toxic, and a gentile. She had to fight those obstacles. She knows zero about sports. About the same as the guys.
