I would say that pictures posted by Charlie and stories told by Charlie is pretty strong evidence. Years ago under an old screen name of his, might have been Jimmy Reardon, he told stories of his escapades while traveling the islands of the far east more than once. IIRC, he even started the thread. It wasn't like it came up in casual conversation.
