He couldn't get much worse. Then he would have been Coby White

lavine is only just hitting his prime, effectiveness wise. ball wont be as good as him, but he is going to be more effective as the next few years go on, at least as long as he stays on exciting teams like this one.

we have a great group right now. if we can get another young big like williams we could easily have a 5 year prime window here. i dont think they are finals worthy this year, but who knows. they are going to be an absolute pain to play against in the playoffs, thats for sure.

They are an early out with one big. UNLESS they end up being the best defense in the East.

Even then it's going to be tough. They aren't going to get away with playing Derrick Jones at the 5 and Caruso at the 4 in the playoffs I fully expect them to pick up 2 bigs by waiver wire buyout time.

Its the type of cheating every team does, unsurprisingly the Bulls were incompetent at it

Last 5 games he is avg. 18 per game and shooting close to 50% from the field. He's definitely stepped it up and had an impact when it was necessary for him to do so.

Someone needs to do a wellness check on LTG. or at least let him know his account has been hacked.

You said he was a "stud" and he has never come close to that. You have ran away from that comment ever since.

I'm acknowledging that he is currently playing good ball. Still doesn't make him a good player. His numbers are extremely pedestrian for a guy who plays the number of minutes he plays.

never mind, he's back.

BTW, I clearly won this one. I said he was a stud, you said he would be out of the league. He's a lot closer to stud than the CBA.

No he isn't. He isn't even in the top 25 at his position. You were quiet as a church mouse about him for 4 years now.

"Studs" make All Star teams. Any bet as to when Lonzo will make his 1st?

Your "stud" designation was a "bust". Your only hope is that he can be a serviceable starter at this point.

By the way Jalen Brunson (in far fewer minutes) over the last 5 games.

18 pts 8 Asst per game.

Lonzo 18pts 5 Assts per game.

I guess Jalen is an "almost stud" as well.

naw that's all BS. I guarantee i can find more PG rankings that have Lonzo in the top 25 than you can find with him outside the top 25.

Lonzo is not a stud. That has already been established years ago. Not sure why you just brought up that he is not a stud when it has already been clearly established and admitted by me and everyone that is not a stud. Even admitted by me in the post you responded to.

But, he is not a bust. That has also already been established.

As for his play on the court, it is objectively true that he is a lot closer to stud than being out of the league.

But, go ahead and respond that LoNZo is NoTT a STUd!1!!!1 one more time. Makes you look either really stupid or just incapable of putting forth a coherent argument to support your position.

This is where MANY of your arguments go flat. You always quote STATS when it comes to Trae yet you push Intangibles when it comes to Lonzo.

Pick a lane. Jalen Brunson (Career backup) has better numbers than Lonzo across the board. Points, Shooting ,Percentage, Assists etc. This despite playing fewer minutes.

Even If I concede that Brunson is a worse player the gap isn't that large.
Brunson isn't anyone's "stud" or even close to it. He is a pro. So is Lonzo. Lonzo Ball was compared to All Time great players when he first entered the league.

He was considered by MANY (including you) to be the next great Laker. In the context of what he was projected to be he flopped. Tremendously. Is he a bust in the mode of say Kwame Brown? No he isn't that.

Is he a bust in the context of being the next Jason Kidd? Hell yeah he is. Every team that he has played on prior to this season have been losers. He has to own some of that. If he is the dude you claim him to be (even now) then the Bulls will make a deep playoff run. Conf Finals at minimum. He should be able to get them there with that supporting cast.

Since Lonzo Ball has been a pro he has played in 20 fewer games than Joel Embiid. Think about that one for a second.

Sounds like Lonzo will have another surgery in the off-season.

Has anyone seen this guy in the past six months?

I'm beginning to suspect he actually died a while back.

Expect a Bulls press release to drop about this on Thanksgiving Day.

The signing of Lonzo Ball is probably the worst move that AK has made thus far.
