Waiting on a delivery today. The old “ we should be there between 11 and 2” variety. Sucks to take a vacation day for this but at least it’s not a whole day

I was there a few years back. Hang in there.

Several years ago, two people on this board (GD and IE) said things to me that, while they didn't make the path clear, sort of stuck with me and helped remind me, once I got back to where I wanted to be, to stay there and to appreciate where I was and what was to come.

I know the idiot moron obese angry drunks on this board will write, "Duuuhhhh, stop with this gay stuff, I want to go back to being a moronic idiot!" but there are so many cool and altogether perceptive people here.

Still many cool people here. Especially now that the Inebriated Rodent has been banned. (Gratzie, Don JORR.)

I had a really bad day yesterday. I miss school, won't apply for a job because of safety, some things I made didn't turn out. I don't like the future for my kids, I feel bad for others that are struggling. Not a lot of joy in life right now.

I know that position, and it sucks, without a doubt.

What's the story behind this? I thought IR was cool, not ban-worthy...

Just take a moment to remind yourself that no matter how bad a day is and no matter how bleak things look, you are not Julie. Being her would be the epitome of misery.

You have real value to many I am sure. How can it be possible then that if you give so much happiness then you are feeling bad. Search for the good.

Life’s about finding the good and joy in things while overcoming obstacles. Find the good and joy in your life. Focus on that more than the bad. Control the things you can control.

Well the typo would be on brand for me but there is no way I’ve dispensed wisdom.

A certain St. Ignatius booster and a certain farmer. It's also possible that they dispensed wisdom either a) accidentally or b) by revealing what the opposite of wisdom is, thereby unwittingly leading me in the paths of righteousness.

So let's not have a parade just yet.

Did you copy and paste this from a movie? Sound familiar

Started up the car this morning and all my dummy lights came on stayed on . Had no power steering . Drove down to the dealer , apparently a critter chewed thru a wire . $600. So that’s nice . Ordinarily I park in the garage but my MiL has been over last few days so I ceded my garage space to her . No good deed ….

Because Tommy has lost a lot of passwords over the years. I mean, some are saying he is the best at forgetting logins.
