BF, are you saying up here for the two days, or are you bombing in and out each day. Let me know if you are staying and where cause we have a lot of great places to eat and imbibe that I can recommend to you. Either way, enjoy your time up here and watch out for the State Patrol guys. The county sheriffs are cool, but the state guys are a-holes, even to us residents.

Doing a Thursday 18 holes at the Brute at Lake Geneva on Thursday, then Friday on to Inter Continental for a 2 PM check in, heading to ZIMS for a few pops then cabbing to the Casino, casino to Miller Park , then Back to Zims via bus. Friday night is open after that, prefer stumbling distance facilities.

You are in luck. By staying right downtown, you do not lack for stumbling options.

Just 4 blocks to the southwest you have Mo's Irish Pub abnd Mo's Place for Steaks. Slightly to the west you have Rock Bottom Brewery (restaraunt and micro-brewery). Right to your east is Water Street. Walk to the north and on, or just to the west you'll find Trinity (3 different Irish pubs in one place), Brew City BBQ, Water Street Brewery (another restaraunt and micro-brewery), Rosie's, McGillicuddy's.

I hope you enjoy your time up here and bring home 3 Cubbie wins for my Mets.
