This very aggravating. ST seems to me to be primarily an issue of coaching. Get the right mix of players in the correct positions...that's 90 of the battle.

We have had numerous special teams coaches and they are just inept at it year in and year out.

I think you're making the point for me - the Bears are bad, incredibly bad. GB let this inept, impotent, uncoordinated team led by a rookie QB and an inexperienced o-line drop 27 points on their heads in two quarters. And you all think you're ready for the playoffs? Good luck with that

Remember when that good team had a bad half against a bad team but then they went on to win the Superbowl. I don't because surely it never happened in the history of football.

Al Michaels told us last night how they've done a lot of repair work on their relationship :pukel:

I didn't think that was possible going into the season but I'm starting to get that vibe as well.

There have been multiple pics of him chilling with Gute at practice. I think they have repaired their relationship and he will sign an extension so they can work on figuring out how to shift money to get Adams back. Trading for Cobb was a big deal for him and it worked out very well. They have also been in on every major free agent during the season which shows the effort is there.

The ST coaches teach his players to run down the sidelines on kickoffs and punts since the refs aren't going to call it against the Packers anyway.

Easiest path to the Super Bowl in recent memory for the Packers. No excuses this year to not win it all.

They are definitely looking unstoppable in a watered-down NFC. Tampa isn't as good as they were last year, Arizona is still a year away, and Favre Fan tells me that the Rams are a fraud because Stafford and Goff are the same guy.

And is anybody afraid of the Patriots and Mac Jones in a volatile and underwhelming AFC? I think not.

Looks like the Lombardi Trophy will be coming home to Titletown later this winter!

Now hold up. Caller Bob was very clear. There is no one beating Arizona this season.

Well, at worst case scenario they franchise tag him next year if they can't get a long term deal worked out, either way, he isn't going anywhere.

Either way, a new structured Rodgers contract will have to provide relief in the salary cap. They also have to pay Alexander, lots of decisions coming up in a short time.

Got about a month to keep it rolling and fix special teams.

If we can win out that could the difference in the NFCCG this year.

They picked up Alexander's 5th year option already so he is technically signed through 2022 although they will almost certainly extend him to help with the cap. They will probably cut the Smith brothers along with Crosby, Lowry, Turner and Cobb. King and Tonyan will leave or take minimal $. They will likely extend Amos and restructure Bakhtiari & Clark. With the Cap going up $26M that should get them pretty close. I have concerns with re-signing the improving MVS, De'Vondre Campbell who has been fantastic and the miraculous scrap-heap find Rasul Douglas.

Right now I see the Bucs as the top team in the NFC. However I would like the Packers chances if the game is in Green Bay.

The Packers should have beaten Tampa in the playoffs last year. The Packers look a little better to me this year, and the Bucs look a little worse. Of course, Tampa could be waiting until the playoffs to really turn things on.
