It does seem foolhardy to doubt Brady, and yet the Bucs just don't seem to be playing with an edge in the second half of the season. Maybe they'll turn it on in the next couple of weeks, but they should've lost to the Packers last year (when Brady tried as hard as he could to give the game away) and they're not as good this year, especially without Godwin.

I don't disagree, but the guy more times than not finds a way to play in the SB. I think a focused AB could make a difference. Perriman seems like a guy Brady will build a rapport with.

I'd expect Gronk to shine in the playoffs as well.

They still have plenty of weapons. Godwin is a different player and will be missed but Evans is so fantastic and underrated.

I actually don't think they are as good this year as they were last year currently, to many injuries on the offensive line and they are without their Top 3 defensive players. Special teams are also worse, they are a huge concern and that doesn't even involve Crosby. But yes, they still have a chance to win it all.

I don't disagree, but again this is setting up for the undisputed GOAT to face off against a clay eating prima donna in the playoffs. I'll give Brady the benefit of every doubt there is until he loses.

Yup, things are looking better and better for the Pack with each passing day. A Super Bowl victory is inevitable. Anything less is unimaginable.

Yeah but you had the Chiefs as “soft and declining” a few weeks ago, so…

...So what's your point exactly? Are you taking the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl? Do they look as good to you as they did a couple years ago? Does their overall physicality impress you? What exactly are you disputing? Be specific.

Here is the full context:

Kansas City is looking a bit more like they were expected to and I could see them coming out of the AFC. It won’t be New England though.

Kansas City is soft and declining.
That was true after the 1st 5 weeks but they have clearly turned it around.

The discussion was clearly about how the Chiefs are performing this year and particularly as of November 22 when - after starting 3-4 - they had a 3 game winning streak. I commented they were looking more like was expected to which you responded "they are soft & declining". They are currently on a 7 game winning streak and the top seed in the AFC. A large part of their resurgence has been an improved defense.

From Chiefswire.com...Defensive improvement has certainly been the driving factor in Kansas City’s recent success. Despite that recent wave of success, Okafor feels that there is still improvement to be made on the defensive side of the ball.
“It sounds crazy, but I don’t think we’re playing our best ball yet,” Okafor said. “We’re playing at a very, very, very high level, but I think we can continue to get better. There’s still plays that we leave on the field and take pride in that and we got to continue to chase those plays.”

This is correct. I'd even add that Rodgers is playing a step below where he was last season. He seems to miss a couple of wide open passes in each game and has been very inconsistent on the longer routes. They also got a lot more help from secondary receivers like Lazard and Tonyan. That said, if they get healthy I like their chances.
