It appears that someone by the name of Laurence Holmes filed for divorce from someone by the name of Melissa Holmes in Cook County on July 15, 2021. Maybe it's him, maybe it isn't. It's public record. You can look it up on the Clerk of the Circuit Court's website.

It looks like they made a surprisingly decent return on selling their home, but that's in part because Larry bought it near the bottom of the market. Definitely not the home Larry would've lived in if he was making as much as he loved to imply though.

I think Larry should marry Tom Thayer or Steve Stone. That would be an awesome story. Either one would make them Chicago's most powerful sports media couple.

Larry spent a lot of time (like a quarter of his show) talking about his elite athleticism at rec league softball. He's an exceptional third base and, you see, because his reaction time is like top notch, but he played short center, which might not be a thing.
