10 years from now? I'll take the under by about 9 years.

Batman got Covid, so they had to shut down production for two weeks.

Started shooting again today.

The trailer looks great.

But, come on, 3 hours? I'm not Sting.

I’m sure Warner brothers will force Matt Reeves to cut the film down.

If the movie is paced well enough I wouldn’t mind personally.

3 hour+ superhero movies have got to die. Just turn them into streaming shows because god knows there's always extra footage for another hour in the directors cut anyway. I appreciate their ambition, but you're making a fucking Batman movie, not the next Ben-Hur, Schindler's List or Gone with the Wind. Looking at you Hobbits and Avengers.

I watch every movie from my couch so I don't mind the long run time. Even if the movie is an hour and a half I still only watch about an hour at most and then take a break and do something else.

i think only the dvd releases of the hobbit trilogy were 3+ hours. the theatrical run-times were 2 1/2 hours, which was still too long. and didn't need 3 movies (or probably even 2).

it's one thing to have a large scope epic like LOTR that deserves 3-hour treatments. the problem is just because you have a large budget and fanbase doesn't mean you need to cram more filler into a 2-hour story.

i have zero interest in this, but i am looking forward to the animated adaptation of "the long halloween".

I'm pretty much the same way. But I am looking forward to the three hour version.

For all involved I hope this is good. It seemed to be a car crash filming it.

Music sounds a lot like The Imperial March, not that there's anything wrong with that.

If this is gonna be a standalone trilogy, just use more villains that we have not seen before.

Might run into a problem there since the source material has been recycled cinematically about 4-5 times over the past 40 years.

should i start up #WHEREWASJAPANESEBATMAN just in case?

#realtalk guys last night 2mins after i t0kked that all of a sudden lights shot in the slim part of my window and a bigass thunderstrike rumbled the house. i used to have a dream of perfectly timing my fist in the air to a lightning strike as a 20something. i tried for years. hard as fuck. then one night i did it 12 times in a row and i was cool with it ever since..... but it felt..... like the oncoming storm. a nickname for.... nobody special.

Finally coming out this Thursday up by me. I really would like to check this out in the theater opening weekend. Getting mostly positive reviews from what I have seen. Love me some Batman.

Is this like IMDB where people post 5 star reviews before the script has even been written.

A select number of verified reviewers have screened the movie, and at noon today the review embargo was lifted.

The RT score will naturally come down, but it seems to be genuinely liked.
