I'm not going to comment on Top 5 because you guys have laid out some solid lists. But I'll throw out my Top 5 Denzel movies I have an irrational love for:

1. Fallen
2. Deja Vu
3. Equalizer
4. Unstoppable
5. Ricochet

It's a difficult question. Crimson Tide is a better movie than Remember the Titans but Denzel is better in RTT than CT. He's featured more.

I think his best performance is in Philadelphia.

But I watch Remember every time it's on.

But I also watch Philadelphia every time it's on but he's just a part of that.

Ive seen Philadelphia, Fences, and Training Day multiple times. Im comfortable saying his best performance is between Training Day and Fences, and its probably Fences.

I consider Philadelphia more of a Hanks movie than a Denzel movie.

I do not think I have an alcohol problem, but after watching Flight I seriously thought about giving up booze for fear that I might develop an alcohol problem.

I never liked the Civil War scene. Seemed a little over the top even watching it as a teenager.

Denzel is great in that one too obviously but that’s about as good as Will Patton gets. I think he makes that movie as much as Denzel

Hayden Panettiere might be the best part of that movie. And then she killed it in Heroes.

I'm also a big Will Patton fan. He makes every movie better.
