I'll wait to bury Detroit until they have a real QB and half their starters aren't on IR. I wouldn't be optimistic, but there may be something there.

And you won’t know how truly ‘inept’ the Packers are until you see a full season without Rodgers. That reality, whenever it finally sets in, is going to be ugly for you guys. I mean look how enthusiastically you are defending the position that he’s not basically the reason your team has success now.. if you guys really are convinced of that.. your downfall as a result of that belief will be quick and concise

Wide open this year.

Beat the Lions next week and the bye is gonna be huge

I cannot see any of the other teams beating Rodgers. They are all so flawed.

Rams, Cardinals, Cowboys, 49ers could definitely beat GB this year.

I think GB is the best team in the league but I also firmly believe that gap is smaller than its ever been. There’s like 10 teams I think can win the SB currently and its week 17. Thats wild

Tampa isn't exactly playing inspiring ball these days. It's going to be difficult for them to turn it on in the playoffs, especially without a bye. The top seeds obviously have a massive advantage.

I agree, but Tom Brady is the only NFC QB that can match Rodgers.

I think we're finally getting the Super Bowl I rematch, back in LA again.

That is kind of how it feels right now. So that can only mean that it will be neither of those teams.

Chiefs coughing up the #1 seed to Titans makes the AFC more interesting, with Derrick Henry supposedly due back for the playoffs. Titans getting a bye = another week for Henry to recover. Doubt there's much game planning / practice needed to reincorporate Henry into the offense. Hand the ball to him and get out the way.

If current playoff seeds hold and the division winners survive wild card round, Green Bay hosts Mike McCarthy in the divisional round. Rams get a couple home games could see McVay game-planning around Stafford enough to win through to the conference championship round, esp with the Bucs looking somewhat vulnerable this go round.

Dream scenario for Rodgers to have the guy whose coaching flubbed the Packers out of the playoffs so many times and Matt Stafford as his only obstacles to another trip to the Super Bowl.

Oh god please let GB face Matt Stafford for a chance to go to the SB

Packers according to 538 already locked up the #1 overall bye. Pack beat the Rams, so they have the first tiebreaker there. Bucs and Pack didn't play each other and not in the same division, so maybe they go to record against common opponents? Both lost to the Saints, tho the Bucs lost more to the Saints. Pack beat the Rams who beat the Bucs. Maybe that's how the Packers have tiebreaker against Tampa.

Cardinals still have a shot at the division. They beat Seattle in Arizona and the Niners beat the Rams in LA -- the Rams fall to the first wildcard and the Cardinals take the division. Bit of a difference for the Rams between being the #2 seed and getting 2 home games and having to take Stafford's game on the road. Stafford 18 TD/4 picks at home with a 109.5 rating; 18/9 98.5 on the road.

It may change, but it didn't sound like that last night. They all talked about wanting to play at least some part of the game. Rodgers said that is the best his toe has felt in weeks, didn't get shot up before the game and got thru it just fine.
