I think there's already light at the end of the tunnel for Bears fan since the end of Rodgers is near, and there is no one to replace him. If Fields sucks we can at least look forward to an equally, if not more, sucky Jordan Love steering the Packers into mediocrity or worse for the next 3-4 years. Get ready, FF. It's coming.

I don't think there's much of a difference between 11-5 and 10-6. I'm comfortable saying that's the same quality of team.

Defense is a little easier to play when your QB doesn't lead the NFL in pick sixes.

It's hard to see how you're going to score another top-flight QB when you consistently pick in the mid 20s and 30s. You traded for Favre and lucked into Rodgers. Favre was a good trade while backing into Rodgers was pure luck.

It wasn't luck backing into Rodgers. It was the same reason they picked Love - GB values QB as much as it should be valued. If your team valued the position as much as GB did, maybe you would have seen a halfway decent Bears QB already in your life.

But by all means, keep thinking a team run by George McCaskey and Ted Phillips will have equal success to one run by Mark Murphy, Brian Gutekunst, and Matt LeFleur. Good luck with that prediction.

Matt LeFleur? That's dude's a genius in the same way Leftwich became a genius once his team acquired Tom Brady. I love that he "values" QB so much that he took the ball out of his QB's hands in the 4th Q of a playoff game. Sound judgment right there. He also alienated his "valued QB" by prematurely drafting a replacement - who clearly sucks - instead of giving his QB the skilled position support he needed. Your entire operation is being propped up by a guy who doesn't want to be there. When he's gone we'll really see those guys for the geniuses they are and it's gonna be glorious.

Definitely no shame to lose to Tom Brady. But if Stafford can't get LA a SB win while he's there(doesnt need to be this year), I think that will settle the trade debate.

Doesn't matter how hard it is (it's very hard without the goat). That part is irrelevant. The Rams made that trade to win the SB. McVay and Les Snead have said as much. If they were content making the playoffs every year and occasionally getting to and losing the SB, Goff already proved he could do that for them. They gave up two 1sts for nothing if that's their destiny with Stafford also.
