There are worse option being considered than Doug Pederson.
Still...here a fucking GM first. It's not complicated.

I left off the part about coaches with a Super Bowl ring that are still coaching. But thanks for all that research.

Doug Pederson isn't coaching. He doesn't have a job.

He was last coaching one year ago.

How are Pederson and Wolf going to make it through the diversity and inclusiveness part of the hiring process? Pederson is also going to play his boy Foles!!!

You should have said he is the only coach with a Super Bowl ring who coached one year ago but not last year then.

Well, Foles was the best quarterback on the team this year.

Lovie almost had a ring. Does that count?

I actually wish Lovie were back. That would make everyone happy. Why not give him an interview?

The Yankees did it with Billy Martin.

I bring back Wannstedt before Lovie. Lovie showed he was bad in Tampa and didn't exactly do great at Illinois.

Lovie was not a college coach and not a recruiter. His whole recruiting plan was wrong bringing up half the roster from Texas.

Do you think kids from Texas want to play in cold Illinois far away from their home state?

I miss the Lovie days, beating the Packers and winning. Remember when he said his 1st priority was to beat the Packers? He at least did that.

Plus, I think Lovie would have learned from his mistakes by now. And he wouldn't have to deal with Cutler's shenanigans.

You are obviously unaware of the miracles Lovie worked in orchestrating the Houston Texans' defense this year!

Houston is not the Bears. And he is truly a HC, not a coordinator. He has the skills for the HC job---team management, game management and all-around leader. All the players loved to play for him, most of all Urlacher. He was a good game manager and did not make too many questionable game decisions.

He made it to the Superbowl with Rex Grossman. Think about it.

Heck, you can bring back Lovie and Fangio.

How are you going to do better than that? You're not.

If the Bears wouldn't consider bringing back their most successful coach since Ditka, they're stupid.

I'm all for Lovie 2.0.

I loved Lovie, but there is no way in hell they are bringing him back. And if they did Lovie is not bringing Fangio in with him. Fangio and Lovie run completely different defenses.

It would be great if the Bears brought back Lovie as HC and Mitch at QB just so all the stupid fucks on this board could get their noses rubbed in the football cataclysm that would quickly ensue.

8-11 isn't necessarily beating the Packers...he just didn't do as poorly against them
