My son goes down there, and earlier this season I went down for a game and it was pretty fun. I only casually follow the team, but he is really into it so I enjoy going with him. Looking forward to going to the Michigan game Friday night. Kofi always looks like he is loafing up and down the court to me. Hopefully I see the great Kofi I have been reading about Friday night.

It's usually the Illini.

MI without 2 of their best players at a home game, it wasn’t great.

They need to play much better on Monday.

I’m still not sure if Curbelo will help them or screw up their chemistry. I lean toward help but I don’t know how that would impact Frazier’s game.

Not gonna be a laugher every night. Without two key players, they did what they were supposed to: holding to under 60 points. They ended up winning by 15. They didn't play great at Nebraska, but they didn't play great there last year, either.

I almost wish Curbelo redshirts.

Curbelo didn’t play well at the beginning of the year. But Kofi wasn’t there.

He’s a great talent to get Kofi the ball with his penetration.

He’s going to be a great player but he needs to be 100%.

Issues with a concussion, sounds like he suffered it in preseason and was misdiagnosed at the beginning of the year.

I think he’ll help the chemistry overall.

I thought what Doc was saying about not understanding his injury is, he's been practicing- at least I'm pretty sure I read that- so why aren't they at least working him into the rotation in limited minutes. Maybe there is some consideration of redshirting.

Many hockey players take months to return from concussions. Vertigo could be part of it. I read that he was practicing but “had a setback”. I would just sit him for the rest of the year and if he’s eligible to redshirt, do that or apply for a medical redshirt.

I’d definitely redshirt him, especially if he’s not 100%. Of course, the player has to be amenable to it as well.

He was supposed to play against the Huskers, but experienced a "setback," according to Underwood. There was a story in the Champaign papers, and it was maddeningly vague.
